Charvi woke up to water drops falling onto her head and quickly sat up trying to remember where she was and how she got there. As her brain woke and realised where she was, she relaxed her shoulders and leaned back in her seat. Charvi studied her surroundings around her, not caring about the rain that would soon change from a little drizzle to a long belt of rain. She looked at the beautiful green grass in front of her, the white bench she was sitting on, the wooden swing with two ropes attaching it to a tree and the stairs over the far left corner. She smiled at the sights she saw and questioned whether there was anything better than it.

"There is nothing better than this." Charvi said through a smile as she sighed at her sight. Saturday is always a good day. Charvi sat in her own world for a while. In her world, everyone was different. They had their own personalities and had their own ideas and opinions on things. She was knocked out of her thoughts when a sudden crack of thunder pounded through her ears. Charvi looked up in awe. She loved lightning. The string  of colour and sudden crash seemed to give her a rush of excitement. She looked up and laughed at the screams of the people around town, running for their lives. You have to admit, the lightning in Ordinaire was quite extreme to other places with the massive cracks and a more chance of getting killed because of how much bigger they were but Charvi didn't mind. It didn't scare her. Nothing really did.

"That's my cue!" She laughed while she grabbed her backpack and ran down the steps. The rain started to pour heavily. Charvi reached the street's edge when she turned back and said,

"I'll be back later." She turned back to the curb and ran back to her house. Charvi clicked her fingers releasing her magic which grasped the  door like a vine. She brought her hand close to herself and the door swung open. She stepped inside letting her magic go and releasing its grasp on the door. She walked into the kitchen, flicked the kettle on and got a soup stock from the cupboard. She made herself some warm soup and walked into the living room where she lit the fireplace. She sat drinking her soup, happy to be comfy in her own space. She sat for a while, a long while. It didn't matter to Charvi in fact, nothing mattered at that point in time.

The rain started to stop once Charvi had finished her soup. She wanted to go back to the park so she quickly ran upstairs to grab a cozy jumper and her favourite book, Tales of The Deadliest Creatures. She bought the book from the book store a while back, but never got a change to read it. When she bought it the lady at the desk just stared at her.

"Are you sure you want this?" The lady mused. "This book is quite scary, and not really suitable for your age."

"Yes I'm sure, I've heard of it before. It sounds amazing!" Charvi pondered.

"Alright, here you go." She replies with no care whatsoever.

Charvi returns from her flashback and smirks.

"Alright here you go." She mimicked with a goofy accent. Once she grabbed all she needed, she left once more to the park. She thought it was just another peaceful trip, but what she didn't know was that this trip would change her life, forever.
