I Was Doing Some Braids On Someone Head, I Know I'm Going Have To Be Done Before One. Me And Khalil Have Our First Appointment Today At Two. I'm Happy And I Know Khalil Happy, Ever Since He Found Out I Was Pregnant, He Been Sleeping With His Hands On My Stomach. I Even Took Some Pictures Of Us. It's So Cute How He Hold On To My Stomach. I Just Love It. I Got Done With Her Last Braid And Was So Happy.
"You Like?" I Asked Turning Her Around To The Mirror. She Smiled.
"Yes I Love It, Thanks Nina."
"No Problem."
"How Much Do I Own You?"
"180." She Pulled Out The Money And Gave It To Me. She Got Up And I Put The Money In My Box. I Looked At The Time And Saw It Was 12:54. I Looked At The Door And Saw Khalil Walk In. I Bet They Be Like Damn He Always Here. That's My Baby. He Spoke And Walked Up To Me.
"You Ready?"
"Yes I Am, Mimi Here Is The Key To Lock Up, I'm Not Coming Back." I Said Handing Her The Key.
"Call And Tell Us How It Go." She Said Hugging Me.
"I Will." Me And Khalil Walked Out The Salon And To His Car. He Help Me In And He Went And Got In. He Started It And Pulled Off.
"You Ready?" I Asked Looking At Him. He Looked At Me And Smiled.
"More Then Ever Baby Girl." I Smiled. I Pulled Out My Phone And Went To Snapchat. I Took A Picture Then Did A Video. I Saw Khalil Laughing At Me. I Uploaded My Things And Looked At Him.
"Why You Laughing?"
"No Reason, Just Happy You're Happy." I Smiled, I'm More Than Happy, I'm About To Have My First Child With The Man I Love. Damn I Can't See Myself With No One Else. Khalil Will Forever Be Mines, I Might Threaten To Leave Him But They Just Threats I Won't Leave Him And He Won't Leave Me. I Turn On The Radio And Enjoy The Ride To The Clinic.
We Pulled Up And Khalil Parker The Car And Got Out Coming To Help Me Out. We Walked In And We Went To The Front.
"Yes How May I Help You?"
"I Have Appointments With Dr. Carson." I Said Smiling At Her.
"Name?" She Asked As She Went To The Computer.
"Ross, Nina." I Said She Start Typing It In And I Looked At Khalil, He Was Looking Around, In Places Like This You Don't See A Lot Of Men.
"Nina I See You Been Here Before, So You Don't Need To Fill Out The Papers Just Sign In And Someone Will Call You Back." I Smiled And Sign In. Me And Khalil Went And Sat Down.
"He A Family Doctor?" Khalil Asked Looking At Me.
"She Yes She Is, She Birth Me." I Said Looking At Him. He Smiled.
"I Think I'll Feel More Comfortable With A Female Down There Instead Of A Male, Again I Don't Know You Might Can Turn A Straight Female Gay." I Laughed At Him.
"You Silly." He Kissed My Cheek And Wraps His Arms Around Me. I Smiled.
"They So Happy And Young." I Heard Someone Say. Me And Kahlil Looked At Each Other. We Are Happy And Young They Not Lying.
"Nina Ross?" I Heard Someone Say Me And Khalil Got Up And Walked To The Back. We Walked In The Room And The Lady Handed Me A Gown.
"Put This On And Dr. Carson Will Be With You In A Moment."
"Thank You." I Took Off My Clothes And Put On The Gown And Sat Down.
"I'm Nervous." I Said Looking At Khalil.
"Don't Be Everything Going Be Ok, Think Positive." I Smiled, He Keep Ne Happy. Dr. Carson Walked In And Smiled At Us.
"Nina,Nina, You All Grown Up On Me." She Said Hugging Me. She Was A Black Lady With Short Hair And Was Beautiful To Be Her Skin Complexion.
"I Know, I'm Grown Married And Pregnant Hopefully." I Said.
"This Must Be The Lucky Guy, Hey I'm Dr.Carson The Family Doctor."
"Khalil Nina Husband, Nice Meeting You."
"Ok Let's Get Started, You Filled Out Everything Online And Its Say You're Here For A Pregnancy Test?"
"Yes That's What I'm Here For." She Grab A Cup And Handed It To Me.
"Go Fill This Up And Bring It Back To Me, I'll Keep Khalil Comfortable." I Smiled And Got Up Going To The Bathroom. I Did My Business And Walked To Back To The Room. I Handed Her Te Cup And She Walked Out The Room. There Was No Talking Between Me And Khalil I Know He Was Nervous He Just Being Strong For Me.
20 Minutes Later Dr.Carson Walked Back In.
"You Are Indeed Pregnant, You Just Five Weeks, I'm Not Going Do Nothing This Appointment Be Sure To Make Another Appointment For When You His Eight Weeks, When Was Your Last Period?"
She Asked Going To The Calendar.
"Um, August 10th I Think." I Said Trying To Remember.
"Alright, August 10 You Going Be Due May 10th Maybe, Since You Was Unsure, I'm Going Give You Your Prenatal Vitamins Next Appointment, Just Know Everything Going Go Down In Three Weeks."
"Alright Thanks Dr.Carson."
"No Problem Nina, Enjoy The New Baby." She Said Walking Out The Room. I Got Up And Put On My Clothes.
"See That Wasn't So Hard." Khalil Said Grabbing My Hand As We Walked Out The Room.
"I Know But Dr.Carson Can Be A Handful Sometimes I'm Going Make My Appointment Online." I Said As We Walked Pass The Front Desk. We Got Back In The Car And Khalil Started It And Pulled Off.
"You Hungry?"
"Yes I'm Starving, Can You Cook Somethings Though?" I Asked Looking At Him.
"Yea I Can What You Got A Taste For?"
"I Know It's Gotta Be Somethings I Can Eat With Chocolate, I Want Some Chicken Tenders." I Said Pulling Out My Hershey Bar.
"Alright Baby, This Going Be A Long Pregnancy With You Eating Nothing But Chocolate." I Giggle Eating My Candy. I Doubt If This Is What I'll Be Eating When I Hit The Second Or Third Trimester.
