Robin first came out in issue number 38 of the Detective Comics in April 1940. Robin's original purpose was to appeal to young readers and that worked out great. It doubled the number of readers to the comics. But now Robin appeal to lots of people including myself. Robin has a greater purpose now which I can't really describe myself. But moving on to the history of Robin
