So today I'm going to talk about one of DC Universe's most favorite sidekicks, Robin, and discuss all of the background and history of each Robin Batman ever had.
Richard John "Dick" Grayson was the first and original Robin. Dick was the youngest member of an acrobatic circus act called The Flying Graysons. He watched as his parents were killed by a mafia boss. Bruce Wayne takes him in as a legal ward and the crime fighting partner Robin. Throughout his adolescence, Batman and Robin fight their war side-by-side. As a teen, he is the leader of the Teen Titans and as he became an adult, he parted ways from Robin by getting his own independence and becoming Nightwing, fighting crime on his own.
