Chapter five

"Molly! Wake up! I want to play!!" I heard Hailey say while shaking we awake.

"Hmm, Oh hi Hailey! I'll play with you. But remember daddy and mommy are going out tonight, So we need to behave so that they can go out. No fighting with Nathan. Okay?" I told her.

"Fine, But if he makes me mad, Can I at least kick him?" She asked.

"Fine, But make sure it's not too hard, Other wise he'll pick a fight." I told her with a chuckle.

"Okay. Well daddy's making pancakes!! So c'mon!" Hailey said while dragging me down stairs.

"Morning girls!" I heard dad say.

"Morning daddy!" Me and Hailey said.

"Where's Nathan?" Daddy asked.

"Asleep still?" I questioned.

"Can I jump on him to wake him up?" Hailey asked.

"Sure, Molly I'd go with her. Nathan likes to kick when he's woken up." Daddy said.

"Okay. C'mon Hailey. But we've gotta be quiet, Okay?" She nodded her head and we slowly opened his door.

"Nathan! Wake up, Wake up! Daddy's making pancakes!!" Hailey yelled.

"Ah! You scared me guys! Okay, I'm up!" Nathan said.

"Good! Now c'mon!" Hailey said.

"Okay, Be there soon. Hey Molly, Wait up a sec." Nathan said.

"Okay. Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Yesterday at school you know after you got your black eye, I heard those girls saying that they were going to jump you if you go outside today. I know that Kelsey was suspended for the rest of the week, But when Monday comes, I'd better watch your back. Because she could attack again." Nathan said sadly.

"It's okay Nathan, I'm not afraid of her. The worse thing that could happen is I get a little roughed up again, But she'll just end up getting into trouble again if she lays a hand on me. Don't worry, I'm not afraid of her." I reassured him.

"Only if you say so." He said.

What I told Nathan was only half the truth, Yes she would get into trouble if she beats me up again, But the second half wasn't the truth. I'm terrified of her to be exact. I don't have any skill in self defense, So I don't know how to protect myself from harsh blows to the body. Maybe it's time I do learn how though.

"Is Nathan awake?" Daddy said.

"Hmm, Yeah, He's up." I said.

"You seem distracted. What's wrong honey?" Daddy asked.

"Do you think I could maybe take some self defense classes. You know like Karate, Or Taekwondo?" I asked.

"Why would you need too?" Daddy asked.

"So I know how to block punches and stuff. You know so the kids at school don't kill me if they get ahold of me." I explained.

"Thanks guys!" I said and started to eat my pancakes.
