-Harry-

“We’re going back to India.” She muttered.

Did I hear it right? Was she going back to India? Is it forever or for some time? Most importantly, why is she telling me instead of telling Erica and Eleanor?

“Harry?” She asked.

“Hmm?” I said still holding her in my arms.

“Harry, I said we are going back to India. Forever.” She said, this time a little louder.

“Oh.” I said, getting the answer to one of my questions. Suddenly my heart started feeling heavier but I ignored it. It was good, wasn’t it? I would get rid of this hell of an idiot and would not be bothered by her anymore?

“That’s it? That’s all you want to say?” She said, anger dripping from her tone as she pulled away.

“Uh… when are you leaving?” I asked, still feeling the heaviness inside of me. And I thought it was because this girl had almost crushed me. Maybe I need to seriously get a check up.

“In three days.” Her voice softened a little.

“Okay, so why did you call me here? You could have told it to Erica, why me?”  I said still puzzled about the other questions going around in my head.

“Are you seriously that crazy or do you just act dumb to piss me off? Don’t you get it?” She yelled.

“Get what? And no I am not dumb, yes I am a little crazy but not dumb. I just don’t understand girls and I can never understand you.” I yelled back.

“Okay. Fine.” She said, taking a deep long breath, “I will talk to Erica and even when she is so f-cking tensed, I will put her through another rough time but will never say anything to you as you are so dumb to get a thing inside that airhead brain of yours.” She said and this time she was calm. I don’t know how that long breath works for her, it never does for me.

“I am not an airhead, and even if it is me or you, someone has to tell Erica about you and it will hurt her more if I tell her instead of you.” I yelled again. She kept staring at her feet for some time, shuffeling them at times and then said, “You are right.”

“Ha, who’s dumb now?” I smiled smugly. To my surprise, she smiled back and started making way towards the hospital. I walked after her, “Hey, isn’t there a way to keep you here and your family can go back because the studies in India would be different than what it is here and its mid term so it is going to get tough for you. You can stay with Danielle as Erica would be staying with her dad now.” I suggested, wiggling my eyebrows as it was one of the best ideas I have had in ages.

“Tried that, but mom didn’t agree to it.” She sighed.

“Well, let us have Erica, Eleanor, Candice and Danielle try?” I winked and she grinned, her eyes lighting up.

“Yes, that can be done but before that I will have to talk to Erica and she will surely get upset about it.” She said and I nodded, tapping the buttons to the third floor.

“So, will you miss me when I'm gone?” Out of nowhere, she asked me a question I myself didn't know the answer to.

“You are not going anywhere.” I said sternly and the elevator dinged.

“How is Joseph?” She smiled, gaining a smile from me, “He’s better than before, he just doesn’t have the energy right now to speak to us.”

“Erica” Mrinal said entering the room. Erica looked up to her and smiled, “Hey Miz, how have you been? I tried to call you but your number was not reachable.” She said, furrowing her eyebrows, “Is everything alright Miz?” Erica questioned on not getting a reply from her.
