“Um, I’ll see you in the class Harry; I’ve got some work to do.” I sputtered and went to Zayn’s direction.

Everything seemed to move in slow motion, and boy did he look good. I walked towards him as he was talking to Liam. He had worn his hair in an unusual and messy quiff, which he had never done before. Black leather biker jacket and a grey tee matched with a blue ripped pair of jeans looked smoking hot on him. The moment I stopped drooling over him, his eyes met mine and my jaws dropped to see those adorable chocolate brown eyes.

“Hey” he mouthed to me, followed by his signature grin, biting his tongue between his perfect white teeth.

“Hi.” I waved, nervously shuffling my feet.

“How are you?” He chirped swinging an arm around my shoulders.

“I’m good. How are you?” I gasped for air, recovering from the recent action of shock.

“How do I look?” He turned his face towards mine and winked.

Oh, my God. It had been two months that I had been this close to him, it felt amazing.

“Sexy?” I replied, spellbound by his beautiful eyes.

“Haha, no I mean I’m good you dork.” He laughed at me.

My cheeks burned as I glared at Zayn who was enjoying this way too much. Removing his arm, he nudged my shoulder with his. Leaning in to whisper in my ear, I literally felt my embarrassment melt away at the feel of his breath fanning my face.

“I didn’t know that I still have such an effect on you.”

Oh.

It wasn’t embarrassment anymore that caused me to turn red, nope, it was something else entirely. ‘Um’ was all I could say, with a considerably audible gulp.

“Zayn!” the devil yelled from across the hallway, “What. Are. You. Doing?” She spoke with ferocious eyes and significant pauses between the words.

Zayn abruptly tore apart the gaze, and the closeness, moving towards Ashley.

“I thought you weren’t coming today.” He yelled walking to her direction.

I turned around on my heels, making way to my history class. Where was Harry? As I had entered the class already, I had to take a seat against all my wishes. After a minute or so, Harry came in looking really fuming. Last time I saw him, he was with Mrinal. Did they get themselves into another silly fight? Poor Mrinal.

“What’s up curly?” I turned towards him, getting a better look.

“Nothing.” He said, not making an eye contact.

The school was over eventually, and I had to rush myself out to pick up Tyler from his school. We were then going to Candice’s for having some fun and deciding over the decorations for the fund raiser with Eleanor and Ashton.

“Hey Ty, how was your day?” I asked him as he hopped in the passenger seat of the car.

“Awesome!” he chirruped, “I got an A” he grinned, handing me the paper.

“An A in mathematics? Wow Tyler, this is remarkable.” I hugged him.

“Harry taught me.” He grinned proudly. Of course, Mr. Mathematics did.

An hour later we reached Candice’s house and were greeted by Ashton with a broad smile. Inside we went to see Eleanor already working with Ashton’s idea for the theme, but modifying it a little bit. We started with the entrance that included two bowls of different colored ribbons. There won’t be a permanent date, and the people who’ll keep entering will pick up a one from each bowl. After that they would have to find their partner with the same colored ribbon to have a dance with them. This way no one or I would have to be date less.
