Sophie’s POV

I opened my eyes to a white light and groaned a bit. I couldn’t turn my head.

It hurt.

My head was pounding and my legs felt like someone cracked them. Why do I feel like that?

The last thing I remember is the cry of my baby girl, but nothing after that.

Had I fallen asleep? Was I dead? Why did it feel so strange?

A cough came up my throat and I coughed, and breathed for air.

Instantly, a hand covered mine.

I recognized this as Harry’s hand, At least I wasn’t dead.

I heard a shuffling noise and I could see Harry’s face.

“Soph?” He asked running his hand through my tangled hair

I wanted to speak but my mouth was so dry.

Harry understood this and lifted my head a bit and brought the glass of water to my lips.

I took a sip and it gave me relief. I needed water.

“Where is our baby?” I asked him

He smiled and nodded, “They’ll bring her any moment now; we were waiting for you to be awake”

A smile tugged at the corner of my lips, our baby. Our baby girl was finally here.

“Have you seen her?” I asked

He smiled, “Yeah, she’s beautiful, just like you” he said making me smile

“I love you, Harry” I said

He kissed my forehead tenderly, “I love you too, Soph”

“What about the name?” I asked after a while

He shook his head, “Not now babe, let the baby come” he said

“Can you bring her?” I asked him

He kissed my forehead, “Whatever you want,” he said and left the room

A few seconds later, the door knocked and Ava peeked in, along with Allie.

“Come inside,” I told them

Allie came inside and gave me a quick hug, “Congratulations” she said

I smiled, “Thank you,”

Ava came next and hugged me, mumbling, “Congratulations”

I sat up a bit. I was tired of lying down in one position.

“Where’s Tommy?” I asked

That baby had the capability of holding everyone attracted to him.

Just like Louis,

“He’s with Louis, babies aren’t allowed in here except for the newborns, the boys wanted to come but less visitors were allowed so only me and Allie came” she said

I smiled, “Thanks for coming,” I said

As soon as they were about to reply, Harry opened the door, carrying our baby wrapped up in a pink blanket.

He was grinning.

My eyes were wet with tears, I couldn’t believe it. My baby was here, our baby.
