Chapter 22

Harry stopped the car again after 100 and they arrived at the place they would stay for a long time.

‘Kelly I need you to stay in the car until I say you can come out.” Harry said nervously

“Harry! Come on now, tell me where we are because it’s bloody cold here and I’m freezing” Kelly said

With that Kelly heard the car door slam and Harry walked away in the direction of the log cabin.

He put his nervous hands in his pockets of his coat, hoping they would stop shaking

Quickly he pulled all the candles out the hallway and put them into a heart shape in front of the door.

He walked back to the car, nervous as a little kid on his birthday.

“You can come out of the car now love” He said nervously.

“Harry, why do you sound so nervous?” Kelly said wondering what was happening

“Oh nothing.. Just nothing” Harry said while his voice trembled

With that Harry lead Kelly out of the car, taking in the beautiful view of the lake.

It was mysterious but also beautiful.

Harry sunk into his deep thoughts, thinking he must be the happiest boy on earth to be there with the girl he always loved with his whole heart.

He enjoyed the fact he finally had the perfect idea himself to surprise Kelly.

“Harry, I’m still freezing, please tell me where we are” Kelly said shivering.

Harry didn’t answer, he was sinking deeper in his thoughts

“Harry??? Are you still there?” Kelly said kicking behind her.

Kelly hit Harry on his knee which made him snap out of his deep thoughts.

He started to hug Kelly.

“Yes love, I’m still here” Harry said pulling Kelly even closer to his body

“Where are we and why is it soooo cold here?” Kelly asked

Harry took Kelly to the most special place in the world he knew.

He silently knew the log cabin of his granddad could be the start of a romance.

The log cabin was set next to the most beautiful lake you could ever imagine.

“Because we are in a very special place love” Harry said smirking

“Stop smirking and tell me where on earth we are” Kelly said smiling

“Ahhhhh not again, you see me through your blindfold? Crap” Harry said swearing

Kelly started laughing because she liked the way Harry thought she was seeing everything.

With that she felt Harry standing behind her with his warm hands on her hips.
