Sorry for the boring, short chapter. :x

CraigPOV:

I looked at Rayan who sat in utter silence and I stood up from the bed.

"See...I told you. You're just--"

"No. No...I seriously don't have a problem with...gay people, homosexuals, whatever you prefer to call them. Honestly, I don't. Neither does my Mom...but my Dad."

I gulped and looked down on the floor.

"See...I don't belong here Rayan. Your Mom should've left me there."

"Don't say that Craig. I hate to hear you talk like that, and you been here for what, a few hours? Rebel against my Dad...he won't do--"

"You telling that man who stands at least 6 feet over and is a pretty buff guy won't do anything to me? Yeah, right."

I rolled my eyes and Rayan smirked.

"We won't get rid of you Craig...whether you like the same gender or not."

"Yeah, but I won't be accepted either."

"Your whole life shouldn't depend on being accepted or not. I accept you...I mean...I think you're a pretty cool guy."

I turned to Ray who had a smile on his face and then his Mom appeared to the door.

"Craig honey, you okay?"

I faced towards his Mom, but before I could answer her question, Ray answered,

"Yeah Mom. He--uh, just doesn't want to bring up stuff with the foster home."

She nodded and a grin stretched on her face.

"Okay, we won't have to mention it again. You two come down and finish your food now."

We both nodded and said "Yes ma'am.", and she walked off.

I walked over to Ray and sat down beside him.

"You--You go to like, a public school, don't you?"

"Yeah...we start on Tuesday. Both you and I."

I groaned lowly and he patted my shoulder.

"I'll have your back bro. At my school, Dustley High, there are plenty of egotistical people there. Someone is either trying to judge one person, or someone is always trying to get some attention on themselves. Other than the fact of me being on the football team, I tend to stay to myself."

"How would they feel about me?"

"...Don't worry about it. Just stick with me and I think you can survive the school life."

"You guys food is getting cold!," Ray's Mom shouted from downstairs.

We got up and began to make our way downstairs when Ray asked.

"You okay though man?"

I shrugged and softly spoke, "Guess it's just one big step I'm going to have to get used to."
