Chapter 27

"Ron, open the door," Harry said urgently as he picked Draco up, who was a sobbing mess.

"What happened?" Ron asked as he opened the door quickly.

"Somethings wrong with the baby." Harry said frantically as he ran out the door. Ron had never seen him run that fast.

"What happened?" Ron asked worriedly as he ran behind him.

"I think he got really stressed or something," Harry said as he rounded a corner. He was met with a crowded hallway with people going in every direction.

"Please, move, I need to get to the hospital wing!" Harry tried yelling. But no one heard him over all the noise.

"Professor!" Ron cried, running over to McGonagall. "Please get everyone to move."

"What? Why should I do that, Weasle-" Minerva saw Draco sobbing into Harry's chest. The color drained from her face.

"Move! Now!" McGonagall screeched, getting everyone's attention. They looked over to her, and she motioned to Harry.

"Thank you," Harry said breathlessly, sprinting down the hallway. "Shh, baby it's okay," Harry whispered to Draco, kissing his head softly.

"The baby," he sobbed. "He's going to die!"

"No he isn't." Harry told him, running even faster.

He finally got to the hospital wing, running in and pushing through crowds of patients. "POMFREY!"

"What? Potter, don't scream-" Pomfrey gasped quietly when he saw Draco. "Get him on a bed, hurry."

Harry nodded and gently put Draco on a bed, then stood next to him. He grabbed Draco's hand and kissed his forehead softly, trying to calm him down.

Draco buried his face in Harry's neck, crying loudly. "The baby, the baby," he wept over and over again.

Harry ran his fingers through Draco's hair. "Shh, calm down, for the baby, okay? For scorpius."

Draco nodded and forced himself to clam down. He hiccuped a few times and stopped crying all together. Pomfrey came back and went to Draco's bedside.

"Let's do this," she murmured before picking up her wand.
