I looked at her confused for a second before reality hit me.

Tears started to roll down my face and I shook my head, part of me really wished so badly that this would've been nothing but a nightmare but this was reality now, I was facing reality, the cold hard truth.

"He's dead isn't he?" I said as I cried, I covered my face with my hands in despair, I did no longer wanted to live.

At least not a life like this.

"Honey, please relax, you're not making any sense and this is not good for your health." My mom said as she got closer to me, she seemed a bit older now as in the last time I had seen her.

Maybe my father's death was taking a harder toll on her than I imagined, Selene was right about that aspect as much as I hated that stupid bitch and the fact of how persistent she was on ruining my life, at least she had succeeded on this.

"This is all my fault mom, I killed him, I killed him with my very own hands." I said as I sobbed now.

"Elizabeth calm down, you are making no sense and this is not good for the babies." My mom said and that immediately made me freeze.

"What?" I asked my mom shocked, had I heard her correctly.

"The doctor said that when you would wake up you would be in a haze, also that you could enter a shock for everything that happened, but know very well Liz that if you don't take things easy as they are right now you could harm the lives of your babies." My mom said warning me.

I looked at her shocked.

"My babies? How long have you known about that?" I asked my mom, how could she know about this to begin with.

"Honey, we have known about the babies for a long time now." My mom said, she was looking at me carefully as if I was a mad woman or was about to break down.

"Really, how long was I out then?" I asked more to myself, I was indeed extremely confused.

"For nearly a month, but it has felt like forever." My mom said and I frowned confused, if it was a month just a month now how would she know that I was pregnant to begin with?

"How did you find out I was pregnant?" I asked my mom, this was starting to get weird, how was I sure that this was not a mind trick or something that Selene had planned, or worst case scenario how did I know that I had not lost my mind already.

"You were the one that broke the news to us Liz, you were so excited although you got scared, well you were beyond terrified the fact due to all the threats that had been already made to you." My mom said as she looked at me.

I leaned against the pillows and the law looking at her confused before I looked around the room.

I didn't even know where I was to begin with.

"Is this a dream?" I asked before I looked down at my stomach and man was it huge, this was not a one-month pregnant belly but a full on about to give birth one.

"What the fuck?" I said shocked, what was this?

"Liz you are starting to scare me." My mom said in a worried tone.

"What happened after the attack, what happened with Max, I can explain that but I know for a fact that I will never forget myself for what I did." I said as once again the tears started to roll down my face.

"Elizabeth you are making no sense; I think I need to call the doctor to check up on you." My mom said as she took a step back.

"I need to talk to his pack, tell them what Selene did." I said before I felt a pain in my stomach that startled me.
