Chapter 12: Change

I sighed while staring out the window in the middle of class and thinking about everything that's happened since I got here to Seiyo Academy and since I saw Tadase again.

That's it, I've made my decision.

After school ended I stood up got all my stuff and left the classroom, walking slightly quicker than normal.

I passed Ichiro on the way.

"Oi, Suki! I-"

I cut him off as I dashed by, "Sorry, Ichi, I'll explain tomorrow!"

I ran home in probably two and half minutes since I'm a very fast runner probably cause I jog 3 laps from the local park and back to my house, which is 2 blocks away, what? I gotta keep my figure, plus the fact my house is a 15 minute walk to and from school.

I went to my garage, and hopped onto my violet and black motorcycle and drove off to Easter.

As soon as I got to Easter, I parked my motorcycle and hopped off.

I made my way to Sanjo-san's office, and as soon as I got there I slammed the door open.

"Tsubaki? You don't have any work today, what are you doing here?"

I stayed silent for a few seconds and took a deep breath, "I'm quitting Easter." I told her seriously.

"What?! Tsubaki, this better not be a joke cause that's no laughing matter."

I didn't say anything but look at her with a serious face.

"After all that I've done for you this is what you do to me." She mutters.

That sentence made me snap, "After all you've done for me?! Look, you might've saved me and took me in that day and I know I have to repay you for your kindness because you could've brought me to the orphanage or left me out in the streets to freeze to death but you didn't, I'm very thankful for that but I won't repay you like this, taking innocent people dreams, it's like taking their emotions, their souls, it's like they end up as an empty shell. What we're doing is horrible and I can't continue this anymore, We've been doing this for 5 years now, and I've had enough."

She was a bit shocked but frowned, "Fine, you can leave, you aren't progressing that much anyways in finding the Embryo." She said in a flat voice, seriously?! That's all her reaction is, after all we've been through.

I frowned and a single tear slipped from my eyes, "Goodbye, Yuki-nee." I whispered and called her what I used to call her the first few weeks she looked after me and before I became Amethyst.

I turned around and left the room with a straight face, I made my way out of Easter, I passed Sanjo-san's boss, but I heard he isn't exactly the man behind Easter, he isn't the big boss.

We made no contact, just silently walked passed each other.

I finally made it out of Easter, I'm actually quite happy yet a bit sad cause Sanjo-san really was like an older sister to me. I sighed and hopped on my baby, put my helmet on and drove back home.

I got home and parked my baby in garage, I went to my room and just fell on my bed staring at the ceiling, I had a feeling I made a good choice even though it hurts me a bit because of Sanjo-san.

The girls went up to me, oh yeah, I haven't seen them all day, probably cause they slept all day and I just left my bag here when I went to Easter.
