A/N; Ok, I know I've been getting a lot of comments to update and I'm sorry I couldn't get any chapters up earlier. My boss decided that I had to deal with the work phone not only on days I have to work, but also on my days off. Which have gotten fewer and farther in between. Can't really complain though, it means more money in my pocket, but also means I'm always tired. Who would have thought being a dog groomer would be so exhausting. Luckily, today I got a day off without the phone or the appointment book. YAY!!!! :D

Hermiones' POV

After Dumbledore dismissed us, I stood up and started to go to my first class which was Transfiguration. Ron and Harry followed beside me; Harry looked deep in thought while Ron kept glancing over at me and looking back when I looked over.

McGonagall was standing at the front of the classroom when we got there with a grim look on her face. We took our seats, Harry sat between me and Ron, and she began speaking. "I know all of you are going to be greatly affected by this new law. You will have to deal with a wedding, having to conceive a child, and your O.W.L.S at the same time. As much as I wish you didn't have to, there is nothing I can do. Your dormitory will be on the same floor and will be set up as apartments. Try to make the most of this as you can. As most of you know, wizarding marriages are unbreakable."

I was unable to do anything buy look down at my hands. "What do you mean they're unbreakable? What about getting a divorce?" One girl shouted out. McGonagall looked over at her. "I'm afraid that in the wizarding world, there is no such thing as a divorce."

Murmurs broke out across the classroom and she held up her hand. "Try as we might, we cannot change the law. It does not mean that you should neglect your education because of it. Now let's get on with the lesson."

I spent the entire time thinking of what we had just been told. I am expected to get married to someone who hates me and my heritage, and have a baby with him. How can I do that knowing that Voldemort is back? Any child I have will be a half-blood in their eyes.

After class I had family planning. Once Harry, Ron, and I got to the class, I heard them groan. The class was set up with multiple small tables with two chairs facing each other. We sat at tables close by in the back of the room. Cho came over and sat down in front of Harry, looking down at her books. Malfoy walked over, sneering, and sat down across from me. I looked away from him and saw Lavender walking over to Rons' table. She sat down and looked over at me, smirking. She leaned over and kissed Ron, then looked back at me, with a smug smile on her face.

I looked towards the front and saw Malfoy smirking at me, "Looks like you've been replaced, Granger." I glared at him, feeling my face heat up, and looked towards where a ministry official stood.

DRACO'S POV

Once everyone had sat down, he waved his wand and closed the door wordlessly. "Welcome to Family Planning, in this class all of you will learn to adjust to married life. Some of you will be able to gradually come to terms with this law while some of you will fight the process every step of the way."

He clasped his hands behind his back and continued. "As of today all of you are officially engaged. The men will be given a day to get an engagement ring for the women. After that you will be given a date you need to be married by. Now, most of your parents will have found out about the law, some might not have. You will have an opportunity to talk to your parents during the lunch period."

I smiled and looked over at Blaise smirking. He laughed silently and shook his head; he knew exactly what I was thinking. The minute my father hears who I was matched with, he will be furious. He will never let this match continue, not as long as our Lord is still alive.

"This is a booklet that will help you adjust to the marriage law. There are a few requirements to be reached by certain dates; such as a wedding, consummation, and conceiving a child. Make sure to read the booklet so I can answer any and all questions next class." He waved his wand and the booklets were piled on a table in the front of the room. Come up and get your books and I'll give you your room assignments."

I glanced over at Granger and she looked at me and raised her eyebrows. "Take a picture Malfoy it last longer." She got up and got in line to get the books.

"Ouch, told off by a mudblood Draco? How's that ego of yours?" I narrowed my eyes and turned to glare at Blaise. "Shut up, Blaise. You got Pansy. How's that going for you?" He shut up after that and I smirked, walking up to where Granger was getting our room assignment.

"You will be in room six. The entrance to the housing wing is on the fifth floor behind the portrait of the water nymphs. The password is Unity. Go ahead and go to your rooms and make yourselves comfortable."

Once the line was finished, he had us wait for a moment. "You can all go to your rooms and get comfortable. As for your parents coming to speak with you, I'm afraid that any parents who are muggles will not be able to attend."

I smirked at this and looked over to see Granger looking upset. Good, now I don't have to deal with her parents. We left to go see our room, upon looking at the clock, I saw we have fifteen minutes until lunch and my parents are always on time.

We got in our room and I took a look around. There was a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, two bedrooms and a study connected to the smaller room. Granger sat down looking out the window for a few minutes, then glanced at the booklet.

A minute later, the fireplace glowed green and my parents stepped out of it.

Another A/N; I know this update was a long time coming. It will start to get better soon but there will most likely be more profanity and sexual innuendos. Please vote and comment.
