Lauren's POV
We drove back to her house in almost complete silence, the only noise was the radio playing quietly in the background. We were both deep in our own thoughts and it was peaceful. I've never been more at peace with myself than in that moment with her, but I've also never had the amount of feelings I'm feeling right now with her. I don't know what she's doing to me, but whatever it is is an amazing feeling.
She points out directions every few minutes and we eventually come to a gated community. She told me the password to the gate and we headed down a couple more roads. "Our house is the 3rd one on the right." She whispers quietly to make sure she doesn't wake Mia.
I pull up to the drive way and whisper damn to myself which earns me a slap in the shoulder. "It's not even that big." She says as she climbs out of the car.
"Not big my ass, it's literally 5 of my houses put together." I countered. I can't believe she thinks it's 'not even that big' because I would defiantly say this is big in my book. It's even bigger than Austin's.
She picks Mia up and starts walking up to the front door with me following behind. I don't know why I'm walking up to the door, maybe I'm hoping she will invite me in or maybe I'm hoping for a goodnight hug. Who knows, but I'm following her like a creep.
"Do you want to come inside? I know it's getting late and you might have plans or something, but I'd love to keep talking." She smiled back at me.
"I would love to come in, as long as you give me a tour of your favorite rooms in the house." I smirked.
"I think I can make that happen", she returned before opening the front door. I follow her and take in my surrounding. It's even more beautiful on the inside even though my jaw was on the floor when I saw the outside.
Camila started walking up the stairs I assume to put Mia to sleep, and I followed her because I would get lost if I tried to go anywhere else. We walked past about 3 rooms before we came to Mia's. She lays her down on her bed before walking over to get some pajamas from a drawer. I watch her put her in her pj's without ever waking Mia up. I dont know how she does it, I would've dropped the kid trying to pull her pants on.
She then lays Mia down on her bed and kisses her forehead. "Goodnight baby girl, see you in the morning", she whispered in her ear.
"Mommy?" I hear her say quietly. "Lauren?" I smile to myself because she called me, she wants me. This is great.
"Yes kiddo?" I ask her quietly.
"You didn't say goodnight silly", she said like I was the dumbest person ever.
"Oh im sorry!" I walk over to her bed, bending down and giving her a hug. "Goodnight, see you soon."
I walk back to Camila who was watching our encounter with a huge smile on her face. "Why are you smiling so hard Ms. Cabello?" I jokingly ask.
"She never lets anyone say goodnight to her but me and austin. She won't even let Dinah put her to bed. She likes you a lot." She says pulling my arm as we walk back downstairs.
"Well that's great, because I like her a lot too. Almost as much as I like her mom." I wink at her and she hides her face to cover her blushing.
"Stop it, you're making me look dumb", she pouted sticking her lip out.
"How could someone as beautiful as you ever look dumb?" I ask seriously, while she blushes all over again.
"So how about that tour?" She attempted to change the subject and I let her, for now at least.
