Continuation of the last chapter

"What are you writing?"

Michael looked over his laptop to be greeted by a pair of bluest eyes he ever saw. For the last twenty minutes, he actually succeeded to write words and he liked what he wrote a lot. When writing he completely forgot about the stranger who was so nice to look at.

"A script."

The pretty eyes sparkled.

"Like movie ones?"

Michael giggled. "No, not like movie ones." He had no idea where he got all this courage to speak up. "I study literature and take writing classes. I was incited to apply for this competition for the best story. The winning one will be performed by our university's acting class in front of kids with fewer opportunities."

The blond blushed and Michael presumed he was feeling stupid over what he said. Michael hated upsetting people even if it wasn't completely his fault.

"I'd love to write a film script once, to be honest." His smile returned. Michael leaned over the table whispering the next words like they were a secret. "I'll make you a deal. You'll be the first to know when I make it into the big world of the movie industry."

Showing more interest in the conversation, blue eyes marked the page he just finished reading by flexing the top edge of the book. If Michael wouldn't be too busy staring at boy's pretty features he'd probably get annoyed by it. Luckily he wasn't looking.

"How would you do that?"

Michael smirked, he knew he had the upper hand now, he opened the door to a hopefully productive conversation. "First I would need to know your name so I'll be able to hire private investigators and they would present you with the news and hopefully a ticket to the premiere."

The boy giggled. "I'm sure you'd found easier way, but if you don't I'm Luke."

Luke.

"That's a nice name." Michael smiled before he introduced himself as well. Just so Luke could recognize his name in newspapers and magazines. Just as he wanted to ask Luke another question his phone rang. Glancing down he saw that no other than his annoying librarian friend was calling him.

Michael sent his new acquaintance an apologizing smile before he reached for his phone. He answered and glanced towards the direction where the comic book writer was normally located.

"Ashton?" He answered with a clearly annoyed voice, his eyes quickly returned to Luke's face for a second. Luke quickly looked away, realizing he got caught eavesdropping.

"Hello Michael, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself but I would just like to make sure you won't be late for your hot Grindr date."

Michael mentally cursed himself for accepting the date but more so Ashton who downloaded the app on his phone in the first place.

"The date is in half an hour and it takes me five minutes to get there."

"Just making sure."

The brown haired boy pressed the red button cutting his friend off.

"You have a date?" The blond asked with a small smile on his face.

"Unfortunately."

"Why? Dates are nice." Michael smiled at how excited Luke seemed. He glanced down at the book boy was reading and quickly put pieces together. Reading Jane Austen definitely made him the romantic type.

"I wouldn't know I don't go on dates a lot."

"Oh... I mean me neither. I've been on things, but not dates." Luke giggled. "I just assume, you know if two people like each other the date normally goes well. Like in the books."

Michael couldn't help but laugh. "Luke if everything was like the books I would have a dragon or at least be dating someone who has one."

"Shut up, you know what I mean." The boy rolled his blue eyes. It was a miracle how he was all shy one minute and sassy or even flirty the next.

Michael thought Luke was adorable and he never thought anyone was.

"Anyway. I loved talking to you but I have a date to attend."

"Don't forget your dragon." Luke wittily added and Michael just waved goodbye.
