Fake! Fake! He is down-right improvised. What could people possibly discern in him that they'd break the largest dams just to perceive a slight glimpse of his 'heavenly' form, despite his arrogant disposition. He is an utter lie.

Her toes curled inside her boots as a shiver traveled down her spine by the stubborn chilly breeze that kept stinging her exposed skin. She nuzzled herself into the fuzzy leather jacket that kept her from freezing completely. She increased her pace as she walked in the direction to her house to swiftly escape this cold winter night. Not even bothering to glance at her watch, phone or any other possibility to keep track of time. With every shaky breath she expelled, came out tiny water droplets appearing as a soft fog, visible right under her runny nose.

"I'm home!" (Name) hurriedly announced but, surprisingly received no response. Usually her young siblings would sprint up to her to promptly flock her, the kind of tenderness only kids know how to express, innocently. And sometimes her mother would shower her with greetings from the kitchen. But, today she was greeted by eerie silence. For a moment she stood there, catching her breath as she slipped off her leather jacket to swiftly sling it on the stand.

The said girl parted her lips to call out once more but, she puffed and pursued them, shrugging as she walked to the kitchen to find it polished, clean and empty. The cold still lingering on her skin, she decided to grab some instant noodles and swathe herself in a fuzzy comforter.

The warmth of the delicious noodles did their job, (Name) felt the chills discard her body as she was submerged in the europhic sensation of heat. Nothing felt more oriented than snuggling in a warm cover and slurping on hot food on a alone, cold winter night. A sigh of content and an embodiment of her soul left her lips as she closed her eyes, placing her head on the sofa's silken headrest which felt like a seventh heaven's cloud.

While she was immersed within rapture, a somehow familiarly disgusting stench entered her nostrils, making her nose scrunched. A feeling like she was going to nauseate filled her chest as the horrible metallic stench reached her lungs. Reflexively, her hand slammed against her nose and mouth in a quirky attempt to eject the smell. She immediately jolted upwards, a throbbing pressure hit her head as an aftermath of lack of sleep but, in a few seconds it was gone. Many reasons for the smell, buzzed across her mind like honey bees, each stinging and worse than the last one and she definitely didn't want them to come true.

As bad as the smell was, (Name) had to check the source of it and eliminate it, as quickly as possible. Her nose trailed the smell to a higher concentration of it, obviously there would be a point. It seemed to be wafting at a higher rate at the place she was standing, in her bedroom but, nothing really seemed unusual about her bedroom. She checked every corner, inside drawers and cupboards and below her bed, she found nothing at all. The hassling smell still lingered, mockingly. She gave up, instead she'd just spray the house with an air freshener, entirely. She was about to exit her bedroom but halted as her foot felt a very loose wooden board below, which caused a creaking sound. Her forehead furrowed and her eyebrows hooded over her eyes that blazed with consternation, her lips tightened, turning down at the ends.

The stench was ever more over here, accompanied by desperation. Her hands reached out to remove the wooden board, not much force was needed. All of the color drained from her body, a loud involuntary scream elicited from her throat like she was being ripped apart at the sight of the source of the stench..and she felt like she was, the bloody mutilated parts and pieces of corpses caused the smell. Even worse...laid her family's body-less heads lined up together.

Indescribable pain and sorrow struck her heart like arrows, fear repeatedly jabbed her mind and confusion hovered over her head like a plane. Her numb fingertips made in contact with her temples, slightly rubbing them to see if what she was experiencing was real or not. By now, her scream would've reached her neighbor, who was a complete nuisance. He was like a noose, every time she tried to get it off, it'd grow back tighter. She couldn't handle this horrible sight, seeing it in a movie was no big deal but, this was real and this was her beloved family.

Tears dribbled down her cheeks, continuously as her trembling legs sprinted to the front door, she hastily opened it and found 'him' standing on her porch confused and concerned as ever. "(Name)-chan! Are you okay?!" He asked in his annoying, fake tone. "I heard a scream coming from your house.." He continued on. She didn't have time to withhold his annoyance, right now...but, she had no choice...she needed someone.

"K-Kou-kun...I found my family dead!" She exclaimed "I don't know how this happened or when! I-I thou--" Her voice faltered and it died, replaced my sniffles and sobs.
She didn't want to talk anymore, she just wanted to wake up from this nightmare. Her heart was thrumming at a rate of a caged bird's wing as cold bloomed across her face. Kou just curled his arms around her pulling her into a prolong embrace like an angel's wing and she sought refuge in them.
"(N-Name)-chan...how will you handle the other things I have in mind for you if you can't handle this simple thing...?"
