Chapter 8~ Saved

Morgan's POV

Sunlight blinds me and forces me to wake up. I open my eyes and observe my surroundings; Mother and Father cuddling together and Bianca sleeping on my lap, Luci and Lucina nowhere to be seen...Wait what? Where are they? I grab Bianca's sleeping body and place her onto a different part of the bed and go out to search for my other sisters. As I wander the halls there's no sign of them...I would've noticed if they had gotten up and besides Luci never gets up before me. I see Stahl and Miriel talking well Miriel observing poor Stahl lifting up heavy boxes. "Hey Miriel!" Miriel looks down at smiles and me. "Hello there. Is there something you require?" I nod my head. "Yes actually have you seen Lucina or Luci around? I can't seem to find them." Miriel turns her head up in thought then shakes her head. "Stahl have you perchance seen any visual of Lucina or Luci?" Stahl places the box he was currently carrying and also shakes his head. "Can't say I have...maybe go ask one of the other future children." I nod my head and walk off in search of Nah. I spot her in the Grand Library with her mother Nowi. "Come on Nah stop being so boring!" Nowi pouts out her lips and Nah just smiles at her mother's reaction. "If you're so bored then why don't you go play with Father then?" Nowi stopped to consider this then runs out into the hallway. "Gregor come play with me!" I hear her echoes all throughout the hall. "She's one troublesome mother..." Nah appears behind me and was holding a book. "Nah! Just the lady I was looking for. How are you today by the way? Also have you seen Lucina or Luci around recently?" Nah looks at me in curiosity. "I'm fine thanks Morgan and no I last saw them last night with you." I put my head down my hair shadowing my face. "What's wrong Morgan?" I look back at Nah. "I can't find the two anywhere and I'm really worried!" Nah looks concerned but stays silent for a bit. "Well let's not jump to any concl-" "Morgan, Nah have either of you seen Lucina or Luci?" I turn and see Mother running down the hall. I turn my body towards her and Nah joins my side. We both shake our heads and Mother sighs. "No one has seen them since last night!" I shout at Mother obviously beginning to lose my cool.

Lucina's POV

I feel really cold for some unknown reason. I open my eyes and see stone, I start to panic and try move my body. Only to find out I can't move my wrists. I turn my head and see Luci in the same state but she dangling unlike me where my feet could touch the ground. Validar walks in and stare at him with cold eyes. "Great to see you're awake Lucina! I can finally move on with plan then." Validar cups my cheeks and in an attempt to escape I try to kick him. But my legs are chained to the ground. Validar leans close to my ears "Now, my dear sweet grandchild I only wish for one thing..." He lets go of me and I spit at him. Validar obviously not amused with my actions cuts me with a sword. "Aah!" I scream out and Luci instantly wakes up. "Big sis?! Where are we?" She then turns her gaze to Validar and gasps. "Hello Little Luci how are you?" Luci looks at the ground. I can feel blood oozing down my arm; it's not a pleasant feeling although I have had to go through this sensation many times. "Let's begin with you Lucina!" Luci stares at Validar in horror and I try to escape but it's futile. Validar brings out some sort of tome that I can't identify. He begins to mutter the pages start turning and runes appear in front of his out stretched arm. I feel my skin splitting apart and it was agoniing! But I can't scream, literally my voice has been blocked off and I do not like that one bit. I see Luci squirming and screaming for Validar to stop. I can't tell what he's doing but he's obviously enjoying my suffering. The pain lasts but I see Validar put his hand down. "That should be enough for you...now Luci it's your turn." Validar prepares his tome and I thrash like crazy. I refuse to let her get hurt. I feel the chains loosen and with one final push I tackle Validar to the ground and he shoots the magic into my chest. I start screaming like a banshee this pain was indescribable. It was pure torture my heart had massive convulsions and it felt like I might die. I start chocking Validar despite the pain in my hand and all other limbs. I hear Luci crying in the background and Validar trying to absorb oxygen when he suddenly disappears into a black mists and escapes the room. I stand up and turn to Luci covered in tears and she was shaking in fear. I grab the iron sword that was left behind by Validar and break the chains holding my little sister captive. She starts falling but I catch her before she hits the ground. "Lucina! Hurry we need to get back to Aunt Lissa she'll help you!" I sprint out of the castle but end up tumbling down a hill. I crash into something and don't feel Luci in my arms anymore. I can't see but I could faintly hear a voice. "Lucina?! Oh gods Luci what happened?!" I hear Bianca yelling at Luci but I then pass out the pain being too much for my systems.

Chrom's POV

I'm with Morgan, Nah and Robin...We lost Bianca when she went to look on her own. I really wish she would stay when I tell her to stay. "Hey what's that in the distance?" Nah point to the bottom of the hill and I can see two figures approaching us. We ready our weapons but lower them when we all hear a voice. "FATHER! MOTHER HELP PLEASE!" I start running to the figures and see Bianca carrying a wounded Lucina and an unconscious Luci. Bianca falls at the two fall out of her grasp and tumble on the ground. Bianca stumbles to get up and Morgan runs over to help her up. I stare at Lucina and yell at Robin and Nah "Go find Libra, Maribelle or Lissa and bring whoever you find here!" They both immediately dash off and I hold Lucina in my arms. Her breathing is shaky and her body temperature is dangerously low. Morgan had helped Bianca up and had picked up Luci inspecting her. "She's just unconscious by the looks of it." Morgan looks at Lucina and gives Luci to Bianca. "Chrom!" I hear Lissa in the background and turn to see Robin, Nah, Lissa, Maribelle and Libra coming as fast as they could. "Oh gods..." Lissa silently whispers while she uses her staff to heal Lucina as well as Maribelle. Libra was checking over Luci and when he confirms she's okay he joins in to help Lucina. I can hear the other Shepherds coming our way as they all gather around I stand up and lose sight of my wife and other kids. But I refuse to leave until I know Lucina will be okay.

Morgan's POV

I was being pushed out of the way and lost Bianca within all the Shepherds. I exit the large of people gasping for air; I can't see Father, Mother or Bianca. Where could they all be? Still in the circle maybe...no I know Bianca came out her small frame wouldn't have stood a chance against that. Mother is probably looking for Father who is probably still in the army of people. I tried to get back in to see my sister's countless times but failed miserably every time. So I gave up and decided to look for my other Sister. I'm the only guy other than Father in this family... I'm kind of disappointed but happy because that means I have to be more responsible so more treats for doing good things! Speaking of good things I can see Gaius sneaking into the kitchen. I follow him and see him being cornered by Bianca who then sighs and lets him go. "You really have to stop doing that..." Gaius grabs a lollipop out of one of his pockets. "Sorry natural instincts, why are you here anyway?" Bianca questions. "This is the only time I have to go grab some snacks before Frederick is back on my tails. Bianca and I sweat drop...really that's it?! Bianca sighs "Well I'll leave you to it then." Gaius grabs her arm. "Where do you think you're going?" Bianca turns around. "I don't know somewhere away from here." Gaius stares at Bianca before turning around back to the cookie jar hidden in the pantry. Bianca walks out and I follow her...she's obviously up to something. She walks to an open field and I hide among the bushes as her mark glows purple and Grima comes out. "What do you want?" Bianca asks tapping her foot on the ground impatiently. "To take over the world, kill all man kind uh what else?" Grima grins and Bianca becomes more annoyed. "Oh lighten up! I just wanted to know who you're going to go kill...is it Validar per chance?" Bianca takes a step back. "I'm not planning on killing anyone..." Bianca's tone drops pretty low and Grima still holds his grin. "Really? Well I guess the girl who was grabbing a knife must have been your twin sorry my mistake!" Bianca clenches her teeth then sprints off and Grima disappears. I sprint after my sister. Is she crazy?! She could get herself killed challenging Validar on her own. I know she's made so am I! But we need Mother to come up with a strategy first. I tackle Bianca to the ground as she struggles to break free she looks into my eyes and stops. "Morgan? Wh-What are you doing?" Bianca becomes flustered but if let my guard down she'll escape. "Stopping you from making a huge mistake. You can't go after Validar on your own! You could get kidnapped or worse injured!" I raise my voice and she starts to shake. I can feel her shaking...I didn't mean to make her scared. I pick her up bridal style and start walking back to camp. "Big brother?" I look down at Bianca. "Yeah?" She looks up at me. "You're going to run into that tree." I bump into a tree but Bianca escaped just before it happens. "Are you kidding me?!" I become annoyed but Bianca is on the grass laughing her heart out. I pick her up again and by the time I returned to camp she was fast asleep. Mother and Father saw us and bombarded me with questions; they thought Validar had got us like the other two. I just answered we were fine and Bianca was just sleeping. Once satisfied with my answer Mother took Bianca out of my arms and Father places a hand around my shoulder. We all walk to the medical tent and fall asleep waiting for the other two girls to wake up.
