Chapter 7~ Darkness

Robin's POV

Bianca is currently asleep on my lap. She must've passed out from exhaustion. Poor girl I wonder what she's been through...I look up and see my husband Chrom staring at me. "I thought it had finally ended..." I smile at Chrom who had his head in his hands. I start stroking Bianca's hair "Don't worry love, we've beat him before and we'll do it again!" He lifts his head with tears threatening to fall. I know what he's thinking about..."But last time I lost you! You were gone for years and I can't go through that again." He rises from his seat and paces his arms around me. I feel something wet stain my clothes and quite sobs. "Chrom, it's not happening again. This time it's going to be different, this time we'll do it together." He looks me in the eyes and nods his head. "Much better dear..." I smile but then feel Bianca move uncomfortably on my lap. I look down and so does Chrom. Bianca sits up and bangs heads with Chrom. "Ow!" They yell out in sync. I giggle, I wasn't expecting that! " Bianca...what are you doing up?" She looks at me then sighs. "In my timeline we get up early ready to move and escape Grima. Well anyone who survived his forth coming did anyways...only one survived his terror." Bianca looks down her bangs covering her pigtails casting a shadow over her eyes. "Well that's unless you're not counting Grima himself." Bianca brought her head back up and looks straight into Chrom's eyes and mine to. "It's nice to know that I get to have a second chance at knowing my parents again..." I look at her in curiosity "Why? Did you not know us well when you we're growing up?" Bianca looks me straight in the eye. "No you all left when I was 3 and a half...I was wet nursed until Morgan came back and said everyone else had fallen. Morgan and I travelled around what used to be our home; he taught me and raised me. Then one day I woke up and he was gone...I was lonely again but I wanted to know where he went. So I ended up in one of Grima's traps being the fool I am and we were transported for reasons I have still yet to find out." Chrom and I stare at Bianca amazed. I then inspect her and realised I don't know how old Bianca is...I'm scared to find out. "Um excuse me Bianca but how old are you? Bianca stares at me like she trying to remember it. "I-I'm um how old again? Oh yeah! I'm 16 years old!" Bianca smiles in joy as she remembers how old she is. "Only 16?!" Chrom and I shout. Chrom picks up Bianca and she just stared at him wondering what he was doing I stand up as well. "Well Bianca you don't have to worry anymore, we won't leave you ever again." Chrom smiles at Bianca and I give a sympathetic look. Bianca smiled with the answer and drifts back off to sleep. Chrom sits down on the couch and places Bianca to the side. I sit on his lap and he cradles me. "It's been a while since we've done this..." I look up at Chrom and he's staring down at me. 'Yes it has...let's just enjoy this while it lasts. Chrom holds me tighter as I begin to fall asleep to the rhythm of his heartbeat lullabying me to sleep.

Bianca's POV

I can't sleep so I jump off the couch and glance at my parents. I smile then hear a crack. I turn and someone covers my mouth and picks me up. I try to speak but all that come out are muffles. "Shh now don't worry. I'm taking you where you belong Bianca. So be a good girl and cooperate okay?" Tears form in my eyes, I know this is Validar...I recognise his voice anywhere. "Now-" Validar began to turn but suddenly drops me and I fall to the ground coughing and gasping for air. I look for my saviour and see Aunt Lissa with her healing staff. She runs up to me and hugs me tightly. "Aunt Lissa!" I hug her back and she strokes my hair. I flinch I have never really been 'praised' before. I hear Validar groan and Aunt Lissa turns in fear. I don't have my weapons on me and Aunt Lissa can't attack. Aunt Lissa gets up and jumps on Mother and Father. They jolt awake and they immediately get up. Validar gets up and picks up Aunt Lissa. "Ahh! Someone help me!" "Sister/Aunt Lissa/Lissa!" We all scream out and Validar throws Aunt Lissa against the wall with all his force, she gasps and passes out. That's it! I throw myself at Validar...Grima's anger taking over me; I can't control my actions anymore...

3rd Person POV

Bianca lunges at Validar and they go tumbling out the tent with Robin and Chrom not to far behind. Robin unveils a hidden Iron Sword out of her cloak, she passes it Chrom and he rushes ahead. Bianca's eyes were red and full of anger. She clawed at him and Validar started to bleed everywhere. Chrom arrived but flinches taking in the sight before him. Validar's skin was in pieces and Bianca was grinning covered in blood. "Bianca?" Chrom wasn't sure how she was behaving. Bianca starts to giggle and kicks Validar; he gasps and coughs. Bianca picks up Validar and throws him against a tree. Validar coughs but rises off the ground. Robin arrives at the scene and notices Chrom going in for the kill. Suddenly black mist coils around like before. "N-No not again!" Robin struggles to break free and Chrom attempts slashing at the mist but fails. "Still alive and kicking I see...We'll see how long that living part will stay true." Bianca grinned and suddenly disappeared inly to appear behind Validar and shove him across the whole field. He lands against a rock and pulls out Grima's Truth. Bianca staggered a bit and her eyes were returning to a normal blue colour just at Validar fired a shot at her. Bianca widens her eyes in despair only to feel wind at her face as Validar disappeared. Bianca looks up to see her older sister Lucina wielding Falchion and standing where Validar used to be. Chrom and Robin were released from their prison and ran up to Bianca. Lucina turns around at looks at the three. She then walks up to them and joins in the hug. Bianca shoves them off and stares at them; her whole body shaking. "Stay away!" Bianca's eyes flashing red again but the quickly return to her normal blue eyes again. A horse can be heard cantering across the grass as Frederick, Lissa and Morgan arrive at the scene. They cautiously walk up to join the others. A silence lingered in the air as Bianca stares off against her own family. Morgan and Lucina take a step forward but Bianca holds her place. They take another step but Bianca continues to stay where she was. They take another step and Bianca's leg lifts up but she places it back on the ground. The two break into a sprint but Bianca dodged them as they ran into a tree. The others are curious how she dodged so quickly but when they returned to reality Lucina and Morgan were huddling around a sleeping Bianca. Robin and the rest stand and make their way over as well.

It had been a few hours and everyone was currently sleeping unaware that assassins lingered in the darkness. They walk into the royal families room, which contained Chrom, Robin, Morgan, Luci, Lucina and Bianca all in one bed. About three assassins crept into the room and lifts up Luci and Lucina then leaves the room without waking anyone up. The assassin not carrying any of the two girls opened the front door and they all escape to Validar's castle. "Sire, we have accomplished our mission." The assassins placed Lucina and Luci in chains and Validar stares at the two sleeping girls. "Good job my loyal servants...You may leave." The assassins disappear and Validar moves a hair out Lucina's face. "This can't fail me now...do not Grima you'll be returned to us soon enough." Validar smirked and left the girls chained up sleeping.
