Ron glanced at the clock.
10.58 PM
She cursed under her breath. Of all the days there were, Abhi was late on the day she and Ron were getting married. Ron shook her head and walked over to the mirror at the corner of the room. She was wearing a long black dress [the one that she and Abhi had both agreed to wear] and her usual thick eyeliner.
Ron glanced at the clock impatiently. Where are you, Abh—
Ron heard two taps on her bedroom window. She quickly walked towards it and pushed the curtains aside.
And there she stood. Abhi. She's beautiful, Ron thought. Abhi's black hair fell across her shoulders and there was still blush on her cheeks from the cold. There was just one thing that was wrong.
"Why are you in pink, Abhi? We had agreed black!" Ron said.
"Keep your voice down and help me get in," Abhi said.
After Ron helped Abhi to get into her room through the window [which she had been doing for the past two months], she asked Abhi again.
"Abhi, why are you in pink? You look like a freaking cotton candy." Abhi was dressed from head to toe in pink. She was wearing a pink long gown, pink earrings, pink high heel and she had even highlighted a streak of her hair in pink as well.
"Ooh, thank you," Abhi said.
Ron rolled her eyes. "That wasn't a compliment"
"Oh, come on. You gotta admit, it looks good on me," Abhi said, smiling. "Also, pink is the color of peace, relaxation and—"
"Sex?"
"—satisfaction—"
"God, save me!" Ron exclaimed. "Everything is pink"
"Wha—"
"Her hair, her smoke, her dreams," Ron started to sing.
" — Ron —"
"And its pinkkkkk. And its pinkkkkk"
"SHUT UP RON, WE HAVE A MARRIAGE TO DO"
"Alright, Alright. I'll go get the rings"
Ron walked towards her table and pulled out a small dark blue box from it's first drawer. Abhi stood in the middle of her room. Ron had to admit, Abhi did look good in pink. She pulled out the rings from the box and held them out for Abhi to see.
"Rubber Panda rings?" Abhi asked. "What happened to platinum and diamonds?"
"Well if you had sold the the cows before Phoenix did, we could have bought diamond rings," Ron said, irritated. "Do you Abhidnya, take me to be your wife?"
"I do," she said happily and Ron slipped the ring into her finger.
"Well it was technically her cows. So, I don't really have a say in it," Abhi said. "Do you Ron Iyrse, take me to be your sexy wife?" she said, wiggling her eyebrows.
Ron chuckled. "I do." And then they kissed.
"Why rubber panda rings though?" Abhi asked as they pulled apart.
"Ethan Hunt got married to Julia that way" Ron looked at Abhi's blank face. "You haven't watched Mission Impossible?"
Abhi shook her head.
"How 'bout we watch it tonight?" Ron asked.
"I had better things in mind," Abhi said with a sly smile.
"Ooh, Fifty shades of pink. I like that."
And Ron and Abhi were married happily. After they had a son, Taylor, named after their idol Taylor Swift.
