Military Poems

Troops

They fly through the air,

and sail across the seas,

they march through the desert,

and crawl between the trees,

some we know,

and some we don't,

the leave their home, their family, their friends,

and risk their lives  to save us,

frome the terror all around, 

weather across the sea,

or here at home,

they all have important jobs,

so please say a little prayer with me,

for the troops of air, sea, and ground,

god please sheild them with your spirit,

when there is no shelter near,

may their bodys stay swift and strong,

please let them always be slow to anger,

and always quick to smile,

remind them what they fight for,

when they are down,

but mostly god please bring our troops back home.
