Blaire's POV
I groaned, smacking my alarm clock to turn it off. I turned my CD player on, and one of my favorite songs, Chainsaw, by Family Force Five, my granddad's band. My other grandpa, who I called Poppa, helped start For King and Country. My grandmother, Mimi, was a solo artist, Moriah Peters. My bed had a quilt made out of old FK&C and FF5 t-shirts, and it had some of her merch shirts. A/N- jilnysoto ;) I loved it. I crawled out of my bed, yanking on my robe, and I stumbled downstairs to cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate. Oh yeah. It was December 20th. I had to get my Christmas shopping done, and fast. Mom, dad, and Lucas were sitting at the table, while Lucy and Gracia were still in bed. I snagged a roll, and turned the radio on. Dad chuckled as I sort of danced while I ate.

"Seems like you really did inherit the family's love of music, Blaire." Mom smiled, pulling another pan out of the oven.
"Of course she did, Jacob. With a family like ours, it's really hard not to." Dad laughed.
"And don't I know it, Rachel." He gently kissed her, and then stuck the last tray of rolls in the oven.
"Oh, and my parents said that they're coming over later today. So you kids know what that means?" Lucas and I both groaned. Cleaning. Otherwise Mimi would do it herself when they got here. And believe me, she had done it before. We had been on vacation one year, and she had come and cleaned the whole house, the dog included. Lucy and Gracia thumped down the stairs, coming to the table. Mom told them what she has just told us, and they groaned as well. After I finished eating, I headed back up the stairs, showering and changing. I did a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with the words Oh So Priceless on the front. Yes, another band t-shirt. Nowadays, For King and Country was known as one of the pioneers in Christian rock, and FF5 was a pioneer of pop music. I slid down the railing, and landed at the bottom. I started working on cleaning the living room, while mom and dad did the kitchen, Lucy and Lucas did the bathrooms, and Garcia did the hallway and stairs. After about an hour and a half, we managed to get those rooms and our bedrooms done. Another ten minutes later, Mimi and poppa arrived.

"Rachel! How are you all doing?" Mom smiled, hugging Mimi.
"Pretty well. What about you and dad?" She smiled, sitting down.
"Hey, I'm here too! And yes, we've been doing fine. How are you kids doing?" I chuckled.
"We're doing fine, poppa. I'm going to be in the play at school in a couple weeks. We're doing Les Miserables, and I have two roles, because of how few people wanted to do it. I'm playing Fantine and Eponine, and Travis is playing Valjean, so in one part, he's there as I die."
"I'm sorry? Who's this Travis?" Mom laughed, squeezing his hand gently.
"A boy that she's dated for a couple months. She's had a crush on him for quite awhile." Poppa looked almost offended.
"A boy? Is he a Christian? What's he like? Does he treat you well?" Dad laughed, coming in the room.
"Joel, he's fine. I'm friends with his dad. He's a good kid, and he goes to church with Chris." He relaxed, and looked over at me.

"Ok. But you had better be careful who you date. You don't know who you'll start kissing." Mom and I looked at him, shocked.
"Dad!" She said, at the same time I said "Poppa!" He laughed, the look on his face priceless. Guess we fell for that one. We continued laughing and talking until we all fell asleep where we sat. It was a good day.

(Hey, guys!! So........I've started this over, and hopefully, as I edit it, I will have more ideas. Thanks for putting up with me!!)
