As soon as we got to our new house, I pulled out my Jack Russel, Sam, and took a selfie with him, and then sent it to Katsy. Suddenly I gripped my arms and shivered. It was freezing. I gripped Sam closer to me and slowly followed my parents inside. As I walked in, I realized that it was colder in the house then it was outside. My teeth chattered uncontrollably and I dropped Sam as I gripped my arms and shivered. "Cold, Dandy?" Jerry asked. See? Everyone calls me Dandy. Even my parents. "Yep. Who isn't? I walked to the car and pulled a box out that had my name marked on it. I dug through it until I found a Captain America sweatshirt and pulled it on, going back inside carrying the box. Jerry laughed and Leona just smirked.
"Laugh it up, fuzzball." They had both worn warm clothes because they knew it was going to be cold, bet I had worn a tee-shirt and jeans. "Star Wars? I thought you were the world's biggest Star Trek fan." I rolled my eyes and smirked. "I am, what am I, not allowed to make movie references anymore?" Leona laughed this time while Jerry smirked, not thinking of a good response. "Your room's upstairs first door on the left." I rolled my eyes again and headed upstairs to my room. As soon as I got up I dropped my box in surprise. My room was yellow. I hated yellow. I went back downstairs and found my guitar. I sang and got to the chorus, when Jerry and Leona came in. "If you asked me, how I'm doing..." Leona joined in with me, and we both sang together "I would say I'm doing just fine. I would lie and say that your not on my mind...but then I go out, and I sit down at, a table set for two, then finally I'm forced to face the truth..." Leona stopped singing and I sang the last part by myself. "No matter what I say, I'm not over you." I quit playing and grinned. Jerry clapped. "Dandy, that's good." I rolled my eyes. Parents being parents, that's all. They knew I was torn up about my last breakup with my boyfriend, Steve, and they were trying to make me feel better. Right now, singing was the only thing that did.Sorry this part took so long! I added media for the first time and I hope you guys like this!
