Chapter 7: What A Jerkwad

I honestly hate Corey sometimes.

He says he loves me some days

But other days he ignores me.

He miss him.

Ugh here he comes. As he struts toward my locker his blue eyes staring at me, his tall broad frame moving in a slow pace. The corners of his mouth tugged into a smile. Directed towards no one other than,

Me.

"Hey baby! What's up?"

I roll my eyes at him and look down. I fiddle with my canary yellow sweater because who am I kidding. I can't look at him right now. Not after the way he's treated me. I mean seriously. What a jerkwad

"N-no-nothing. I'm ummm fine. I uh-gotta go." I walk fast and avoid eye contact. I know he's upset. I can feel it. But I can't ant confront him. Not now.

Ever done that night when I had to keep him from being too touchy-feely , he's acted...well...different.

When he is around his friends he acts like I'm not there or is angry towards me. It's almost like...he's controlling me. I don't know. Maybe I'm just being over dramatic. But I can't help but feel like something's up.

Later that afternoon, I was walking to my honors English class and Corey came up to me looking upset, sad, and scared all at the same time.

"Hey, I know you have to get to your English class but we should really talk."
He looks like he's been crying. His eyes are all red, he has wet tear stains on his face.
"Alright, you have 5 minutes."

"That's all the time I need."

He looked at me. In a way I've never seen him look at me. A look of sheer pain. I look of hurt. He looked like he had done something bad but, nothing I thought would happen next. I never ever thought Corey would say those 4 words that I hated so much. I never hoped to hear again.

"I cheated on you."
