I may have broken a few speeding laws to get back to the apartments. I was white knuckled, nervous and excited at the same time. After almost a month we'd finally get to see our friend again! Everyone else remained a block away on every side of the building, where I pulled up right in front and put it in park. I know the plan was to just let Rin run in, but no way in Hell was I letting him go in alone. I shut off the car and Rin and I both got out.

"Mia, what're you doing? Only I'm supposed to go in." He said confused that we weren't following the plan.

"Sorry Rin, but I don't want you to go in alone. Safety in numbers, remember?"

He gave a little smile. "Yeah, I guess."

I smiled in return and we both headed upstairs. I felt a few buzzes in my pocket, probably protests from the guys but I ignored them and kept going. We got to the second floor and my heart raced as we neared closer and closer to Ian's apartment. We both stopped just outside the door and we looked at each other. Rin cautiously put his hand on the doorknob and looked at me for the okay. I gave him a silent nod and he quickly turned and pushed open the door and we both slipped inside and looked around. The apartment was dark, and eerily silent. I took a step foreword, the floor creaking slightly under my feet. I looked around cautiously.

"Ian?" I whispered. Rin crept over and flicked on the light switch, illuminating the living room. We looked around, no one was here. "Hm, you check the kitchen. I'll check his room."

Rin nodded and we split off. I headed towards Ian's bedroom which was shut. I pressed my ear against the door. Silence. I placed my hand on the knob and slowly twisted, holding my breath. I heard a click and pushed it open. Stepping inside, I let my eyes adjust to the darkness and standing by the window was Ian. Or at least his silhouette. I couldn't see his face due to his back being towards me, but it was him. I couldn't contain my excitement and I ran over to him, wrapping my arms around him in an embrace.

"Oh my gosh, Ian! We've been so worried!" I cried into his shoulder. "Rin! Rin I found him!"

I felt him wrap his arms around me, and then I felt him start to tremble. His shoulders began to shake. I looked up at him, and in the pale light from the window I could see tears rolling down his cheeks. My heart sunk and I gently went to wipe his tears but he grabbed my wrist. We both went still, and everything around us seemed to stop. It was Rin's footsteps coming down the hall that brought me back to reality, but before he was able to enter the room, the door slammed shut. "M-Mia? Mia! Open the door!"

I didn't respond, I remained frozen, looking up at Ian. He looked at me, a solemn look on his face. "I'm sorry."

I suddenly felt full of fear and tried to pull away from him. I managed to pull my wrist free of his grip and managed to get past him, but as I looked up into a mirror he had in his room I saw him standing behind me and I was suddenly frozen in fear. In his mirror, he seemed, distorted. His face seemed suddenly whiter, his face was twisted up into a grin and his eyes, one remained the bright blue it was the first day we met and the other was completely black with a red iris. It wasn't the same Ian I had just hugged. This was something under the control of Slender. I had to get away. I made a break for the door, wrapping my hands around the knob desperate to get it open. "Rin! Rin!" I cried through the door, only the knob wouldn't budge. "Rin I can't open the door!" I whirled around to see Ian coming toward me, he still had the pale skin and creepy grin. Out of nowhere he lunged at me. I shrieked and dived onto to the bed, listening to Rin's frantic cries from the other side of the door. Ian rammed into the door with a thud and he staggered back a step. He then made a noise similar to a growl and whipped around to face me. I stood with my back against the wall, I had no idea how long I'd be able to dodge him in this small room.
