Slowly I raised my head as I woke up. My head groggy from sleep. Tiredly I looked around, Izahs golden head still snuggled close to my wings. It was then I realized how scraped up he was. Now pink scars ran down his sunny face, his beautiful.... Stop. He's your friend he saved your life. He's nothing else. The sun was slowly rising above the cherry green tree tops. Pink and orange splotched the morning sky. Careful not to wake Izah I stood and took a look around our clearing. The grass was thick and damp with morning due. Finally I could see how big our clearing was. Big enough for 10 full grown dragons to sprawl out in the morning sun. Since I was now.... Oh my gods! How long had it been since I was captured. Not that long I suppose... I was only there for three long long days. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean you don't know. There's that voice again! Hello? Who's there? Can I talk to you please? You must not beg but command if you are to live up to your potential. Stop talking in riddles then! If that's not a command then what is?! Riddles help you find the truest meaning in everything. Live learn laugh. Someday you will live to learn and learn to teach. Then when you are withered you will laugh about all of this. Remain vigilant friend this is the last you will hear of me. Now go! Wake your friend before the come! "What? Before who comes?" I accidentally said out loud, "Voice wait!" I didn't know if I should trust a voice inside my head when I could easily be me going crazy. Strangely I felt compelled to follow the voices command. Not like I was forced but a gut feeling. So quickly I jogged over to Izah and nudged him. Slamming me in the snout as he snapped up into a soldier position Izah firmly said, "Sir, sorry sir!" Then relaxed, "Sorry I'm used to being woke up by my commander for sleeping in late." "Thats fine but we need to go." I replied hastily, "Why?" Izah looked at me puzzled, "we have stumbled across a paradise!" "I'm not so sure, I don't know how to explain it but I feel like something bad going to happen any moment plus now we can takeoff. There's enough room." I said not particularly wanting to share with Izah that I had a voice inside my head. I don't want him ditching me now. "Ok let's go then." He ran forward faultlessly, his legs moved in sink. Like a melody. He was like a river without rocks and the smoothest sand..... Stop seriously! Ok got to focus. Izah was floating in the air beconing for me to hurry up. Quickly I curled up my muscles and leapt into the warm morning air. Snapping my wings out as fast as possible, then flapping them a few times to get the feel of flying... It had been so long. Slowly I made my way over to Izah. "Where are we headed?" He asked. "I don't know." I replied mistily, "You know what... I wanna pay my dear mum a visit. Are you up to the challenge?" I asked, revenge seeping into my veins. "Sure why not." He replied smiling. His smile was as shiny as his sunlike face. I was ready to get back at her, you know what she probably was glad I was gone unless it ment she had to do the chores but sill she'd probably force them into StrongClaws arms. "Follow me, we're headed to the deserts of Unaria.
