The flight was long and perishing for awhile but we got used to the hot weather once again. When we arrived I landed at the base of the towering rock with my families home den at the top. I could tell that they were there, my moms tail hung out the side. I twisted my head left and right taking everything in. Everything seemed smaller... Well now I'm unlocked so I guess that makes sense. Soundlessly I bounded off the lightly sanded sandstone and Isah followed. His beautiful gold scales reflected the sun. We hovered by my little window where I slept when I was small. I don't think I could fit anymore. Izah nodded in in encouragement. Let's do this. "So how life been?" I sneered. All of their heads snapped towards my voice. Fear locked in my siblings eyes. I was no longer the smallest of the pack. My small older brother just stood frozen in fear. Stupid StrongClaw. My small sister did the same. My mom starred angrily, "Young lady where have you been!? Your chores have been left undone for over a year! Whoever your friend is, I don't care who he is, he's leaving and your finishing your chores! Look at this place its a mess!" "CrystalFinder!" Izah said in a no nonsense tone, "You have violated the dragonett labor law, it says in the book of dragonetts that no dragonett should be told to do any labor at any age under 12. Your daughter is only 8, and it's been more than a year since you broke her." "Broke her?" CrystalFinder looked offended. "Yes, she over heard you say these exact words, 'The truth is, and you can't tell anyone this, but your sister is different. So I don't know what to do, she's not family to me'." Izah stared her down, "I have the authority to arrest you and your children will go to different homes. You will be sentenced to life in prison because abusing a dragonett is punishable by death." CrystalFinder was at a loss for words. "Come now, we have a court to attend to." "Snatcher, get over here and tell this boy that he has no right telling me what do do especially since he's a defect." CrystalFinders last words echoed around my head, defect. That means I'm a defect. "Izah is not a defect!" I screeched anger seeped into my veins, "And your not my mom!" "Abusing a dragonett is punishable by death, Moon if she is found guilty you may torture her or obliterate her in every way possible. You have that right." Izah said, "But we need to go to court first and I know she's guilty but we need to get the courts approval first."
The court meeting was long, but I eventually won. "What do you want to do with her now?" Izah asked. "I don't know, but I'll leave it up to the police and fairs to find out what to do with her." I replied. "I know the dragon war is still at large but I just want to leave it all alone now, just settle down and leave life at bay. I want to find an unpopulated place and stay there for the rest of my life." "Then I'm coming with you." Izah said as we walked out of the big den entrance. "Wha? Why?" I looked at him in surprise. "Because....because....." Izah didn't seem to have words so he sat on his knees and said amazing words, "Will you be my wife?" He offered me a pearl necklace with blue pearls, except for the one int he center, it was golden yellow. "Yes!"
