The Fill-In Boyfriend

Chapter 1- The Proof of His Existence

"I can't wait to prove to Stuart that you're real! He's been claiming that you're fake and that I made you up!" Topanga squealed as she locked her arm into Shawn's and clenched her arm around her's tightly. "Yeah, yeah." Shawn called as he stumbled to the auditorium with his 'girlfriend' Topanga Lawrence. 

Topanga was a senior in high school. She had brown and long flowing hair, she wasn't very tall and she had a beautiful radiant smile. Shawn on the other hand was a junior in college. He was tall and had medium length dark brown flowing hair that stopped at his the end of his ears. Shawn was also a heavy drinker so he was always drunk but, Topanga was so blinded by his 'looks' that she didn't care about that. It was prom night at Topanga's school and she had brought Shawn as her date. She had asked Shawn to come sober but the man did not comply. When Topanga saw Shawn she wanted to question as to why he showed up smelling like tequila and vodka if he had swore he was sober and also why he couldn't remember her name but, the petite brunette was afraid that he would hit her as he usually did when she upset him so she didn't.

"Let go of me!" Shawn yelled as he pushed Topanga off of him to get out of her embrace. "Don't grab on me like that again! Ever!" He shouted as he pointed his finger into her face. Topanga was trying her hardest to fight back the tears, she loved Shawn so much and she hated that he maltreated her as much as he did. "I-I'm sorry." She said as she grabbed her bag from the from the floor and wiped the tears that had fell from her eyes away and stood next to Shawn. As the two got closer to the auditorium Topanga tried imagining how Stuart would react, he had been telling her Shawn was fake and that he was 'a figment on her imagination'. Topanga quickly shook that thought out of her head and walked into the auditorium door as Shawn opened it for her. As she walked in she caught Stuart's glaring from across the room and smiled and walked over to him. "Stuart I'd like you to meet Shawn." She giggled and clutched her hand into his.
