Chapter 2: Coronation Day

"Miss?" I heard someone say, although it sounds fuzzy. I responded, saying something dorky. Probably like:

"Aszabwah?" I asked, but heard a small giggle, coming from the person who woke me up.

"Well, Princess Agatha, it's, um, coronation day, and we must get you ready." Wait, princess? Ohhh right. Well, this was going to take some time to get used to.

" Do I have to?" I asked grumpily. I remembered the conversation I had with Tedros last night, and it only made me want to avoid doing the makeover even more.

"I'm afraid Prince Tedros has ordered it." She said, sounding like she was surpressing laughter.

" Ughhhh." I replied, dragging out the H.

"Miss?"

"Ok, ok." I said, opening my eyes, and sitting up, trying to wake my tired body up. And it seemed all at once, the sun came through my eyes, and my vision fuzzed up immediately, before clearing up after a while. Once, I could see, I looked to see a young girl, about 20 years old, looking back at me, in a maid's uniform. She was pretty enough, but than again nobody trusted my opinion.

"Oh hi." I said, awkardly, trying to wave off the tension, as the girl stared at me. Probably because she expected the upcoming queen of Camelot to be prettier. Oh, well. It was too late for that gwaking.

"I understand you were sent to help me, but do you mind leaving? As long as the beauty supplies is in here, I think I can take it from here." I said, my  voice dripping with fake sweetness.

"Uh... of course, Ma'am. I'll... be leaving right now." She said, slowly walking to the door. I rolled my eyes as soon as she left. Didn't anybody realize that staring was rude? But to be honest, I knew that I probably looked like a mess. When I looked in the mirror, it confirmed my thoughts. My oily hair was had a serious case of bed head, and it looked like I let Reaper style my hair. My baggy pajamas looked like dirt compared to the coronation dress that the stylist made for me, not that I was surprised. Anything looked better than my "clumps". I sighed, surveying all the work I knew I had to do. Well, first things first. Shower. I hopped in there hoping that it would wash away my nerves. I mean in 4 hours, I would have to present a speech, get crowned princess, and hope that all the citizens of Camelot would like me. Yup, I know. A solid plan. Well, this makeover better work. Or else, I would be a bug of a princess, I thought.
