Stressed Out {Marauders Era}

Chapter One

"GRYFFINDOR!" I heard the hat bellow. I skipped up and ran to the table decked in red. Lily jumped up and hugged me like I hadn't seen her in years, but I technically haven't. My pale blonde hair was almost ripped out if my head when she hugged me. "I'm still mad you were expelled from two schools." She said finally. "But we're in the same house!" Marlene chimed. "I. Can't. Breathe!" I finally squealed from the pile of bodies. I was finally released from death when Marlene and Lily slid back into their seats. "You have to tell me everything about the Brazilian landscape." Lily finally said. "Well," I began, thinking if the green robes in my trunk, "The building and grounds are protected by Caipora, mischievous spirit beings who emerge at night to protect the students and creatures in the forest. The robes are bright green and really pretty." I said, listing most things I knew about Castelobruxo. She smiled. I grinned.

"Evans!" called James. I sighed. Lily rolled her eyes. She muttered the password, ("Bezoar.") and climbed in. "Evans!" James tried again. He jogged up next to Lily and attempted to put his arm around her. I smacked it away as he lifted it up and he whimpered as he walked away. "Oh thank Merlin." She sighed. I smirked. "How long has this been going?" I asked. She sighed. "Since the beginning of time." She moaned. I laughed. We walked up the five flights of stairs and let Lily listen to me complain about how there should be less stairs.

"STELLA CHLOE LEONE FLORES ELFENNAU STERLING!" I sighed. "You haven't changed." I mumbled. "GET OUT OF BED!" Lily screamed. I rolled off the bed and landed on the stone floor. "OWW!" I moaned. She sighed and helped me up. "YOU HAVEN'T CHANGED EITHER!" She yelled. I sighed and got dressed. "Oh my Godric Lily, you're still the crazy girl I met at age 4." I said. I heard a growl play at the back of her throat. She jumped up and tried to tackle me onto the bed. "LILY!" I exclaimed. I ran out the door and down the stairs, Lily at my heels. I jumped over the couch and ran out the portrait hole. "Evans! Go out with me?" James called as Lily jumped down the stairs. "Not happening!" She yelled after running after me. I laughed and hid in a secret passage next to the fat lady and watched Lily's look of confusion. She stomped back into the common room and I giggled and skipped in after her. She growled and I giggled. She grabbed a pillow and whacked me with it. Several times. "Lily Evans!" I shrieked. Marlene was watching from upstairs and shook her head. "Honestly Flo, you'd think you'd learn your lesson!" She laughed. "Don't call me Flo." I grumbled. She zipped down the stairs. "Leona?" She asked. I shrugged. "Fine by me." "Yay!" She sang, running around the common room. "What's up with McKinnon?" Asked a voice behind me. I jumped, not knowing he was there. Of course Sirius would scare me. I thought. I sighed. "She has a new approved nickname for me." I said, running off towards Marlene so she wouldn't come up with five more nicknames to run by me.
