Part 4: Timebreaker

Scene: Hedgehogs House. Sonic walks down the stairs to and sees his mother.

Aleena: Well? With or without?

Sonic: Uh, with?

Aleena: You're sure it's not better without?

Sonic: Either way you look perfect mom.

Aleena: You know? It's not every day you celebrate your twentieth wedding anniversary.

Jules: [off-camera] Sonic! Could you here a minute please? (Sonic runs over to him) Well?

Sonic: Well what?

Jules: My forelock, I groomed it. Is it too short? Should I cut it all? Or Maybe...

Sonic: You look perfect dad. Uh, except for one thing. (points at his dirty baking apron, which he is still wearing)

Jules: Uh? Thanks sweetheart. (runs off)

Sonic: (chuckles) No problem dad! (later, Sonic pushes his parents out of the doors)

Sonic: You're going to be late!

Jules: Now don't forget Mrs. Marine will be coming by to pick up the Eiffel Tower cake in 30 minutes. I'm depending on you.

Sonic: Yeah, yeah. No sweat, piece of cake. (they leave and Sonic lets Tikki Chip) Wow, married twenty years. That's pretty cool, huh Chip?

Chip: Time flies when you're having fun.

Sonic: And stands still when you're doing homework. (Chip chuckles)

Scene: Restaurant. Sonic's parents sit down to eat.

(Jules notices someone and waves. It's Bunnie sitting at another table with her mother.)

Bunnie: They're Sonic's parents. You know, one of the chicks I hang out with?

Tiara: Yes, I remember. They make the best bread in the whole of Paris. (notices Bunnie's shoes) Couldn't you have made more of an effort to dress nicely?.

Bunnie: What do you mean?

Tiara: This is a special day.

Bunnie: Well, it's only a birthday.

Tiara: No, this is a special birthday (reaches inside her bag and brings out a watch) This family heirloom was made by one of our ancestor many, many years ago. It's been passed down from one generation to the next, on their 15th birthday. And today, it's your turn to inherit it.

Bunnie: It's pretty sweet mom. But I've already got a watch, synced up to my smartphone.

Tiara: But sometimes there's more to things that meets the eye. Let's just say that our ancestor was... (opens the watch) Ahead of his time. (Bunnie gasps)

Tiara: Of course, I'd understand if you'd rather me buy you a new pair of rollerblades.

Bunnie: No, Mom! I'm still to have it. It's awesome, thank you! (The phone rings)

Tiara: Are your friends waiting?

Bunnie: Yeah, but I don't wanna bail on you. It's cool.

Tiara: No, no, go ahead. (Bunnie stands up) Now, take good care of it.

Scene: Hedgehogs House. Sonic is on his room doing homework.

Chip: Come on Sonic! You can do it! Just remember the formula. Think, Sonic, think!

Sonic: I might be able to do it if you weren't distracting me so much with your encouraging words! (Chip giggles) (The phone rings)

Sonic: Hey Tails. What's up? The what? The bet between Bunnie and Jet? No, of course I didn't forget! I already made the banner for it! I know everyone's counting on me. In 5 minutes? No sweat. I'm on my way already. Be right there! Eek!
