"Uh. No." I looked at my uniform hanged on the closet.

"I'm not going to school today. Nope. Just no. "

"Sis, this isn't highschool." My brother reminded me from the door.

"I know! Just shaddup!!"

I know it's not highschool, but I'm so embarrassed to go and see Makoto.

I know we're going out but still... I'm not yet cured from what happened yesterday. My face is hot red.

I took a deep breath. Grabbed my uniform and disagreeably wore it.

"For the sake of graduating." I mumbled.

"Sis let's walk together today." My brother suggested.

"Why not?"

Right after opening the door Makoto was there standing.

"Yes? Good morning my princess." His eyes disappeared with his wide smile.

I slammed the door close. "On second thought, maybe not today bro?"

My brother had a teasy kind of grin. "Sis, was he your boyfrien--"

"Yeah??? And what if he is?" I rolled my eyes to the side.

"Awesome! Didn't know you had one Ritsu!" He said like it was unbelievable. "Cool!"

I fanned him dismissively. "Ohhh... It's nothing. I'm quite the playgirl eh?"

I felt proud and accepted his praises till I heard a knock.

I forgot about him completely!

I opened the door and asked if my brother could walk with us. He agreed nonetheless.

It was awkward, Makoto was unusually quiet and my brother was twitching. I bet he's itching to play video games with him.

"So! Bro! How good are you?!" He jumped to reach Makoto's shoulder.

"Well, I think I'm kind of good at it." He grinned, then looked at me.

He doesn't mean that idiot! Video games! I bet he's thinking about kissing.

"Really?!" My brother became hyper. "Wanna hang out the next time then?!"

Makoto nodded. "Sure. Oh, is this your school?" My brother turned around to see the large building.

"Yeah! I'm going ahead then!"

"Be careful!" I managed to shout.

He waved back.

"We look like parents." I laughed.

Me and Makoto smiled to each other like we finally have had time for ourselves.

"Hmmm... So about yesterdaaay." Makoto looked at me.

"No! Don't bring that up!" My cheeks started to burn again.

"So cute." He smiled and pinched my nose. "That's for yesterday."

He ran away. "Chase me if you can!"

"Why youuu!!!" I played along.

I lost him. I looked for him on the school yard. Well maybe he's already in his class?

I looked at the time. 8:30.

8:30...

8:30...

8:30!!!!

I'm late!! I didn't run for it. I'll skip one class for now. It's embarrassing to be thirty minutes late you know.

I had nowhere else to go but the rooftop. If I stayed any longer by the schoolyard, I'll be reported for skipping a class. Atleast nobody will see me at the top.

And I was wrong.

"WHAT?! YOU'RE HERE??!" Talk about unlucky.

Rin.

"Tch. Just go away. Stop shooing me lesbian." He waved at me.

"You're the one shooing me away!" I rolled my eyes. "Whatever! I'm not leaving!"

"I'll report you if you don't leave."

Dumbass, "I'll report you too!"

He just clicked his tounge. "Yeah, whatever."

Rin-diot put a book on his head and started to snore. The book had an English cover?

"So this idiot can read English?" I went closer.

"Stuuupid. I hate you. I hate you, I l-ha-o-te-ve you."

I heard someone suddenly overlap my voice.

"Huh??" I looked around. Nobody was there.

"What was that just now." My voice duplicated again.

Somehow I heard a chuckle.
"Pffft. What a real idiot. You're the idiot, stupid." Rin removed the book from his face.

"You said something?" I picked my ears, pretending not hearing anything.

"Yes, without any special meaning into it."

"You're being a tsundere now? Come on!"

"Well, you're also a tsundere, plus I just knew you're a weeb too. So disappointing"

We were throwing comebacks with each other like it's war.

"You'll pay with this!!!" I know I'm losing with our argument. I can't think of anything good, because every word I think of I know he has a fireback in store.

I turned around and ignored him

"You know what tomboy..." He paused. I still ignored him.

"Well, you're ignoring me? Then you can listen." I gulped. I know this will be painful again.

"I'm sorry."

My eyes widened.

I'm sorry....?

I turned around. I was kind of scared to look at him.

"You're joking right now, right?"

He smiled. It looked like it was a painful one.

"You know, I'm not a direct person. Nobody understands. I doubt you will too. Whenever I feel so alone." He looked at me in the eyes.

"When I'm left alone. You're happy right?" He laughed. "All of you enjoy having fun. Enjoying things and leaving somebody behind. Like there's this special place for losers only, that position..."

Shut up.

"...That position that leaves one out, is the place that satisfies you people."

Shut up.

"Makes you think somebody else is more vulnerable to loneliness than you--"

"Shut up!! You think I don't get it? Is that it? Is that why you always vent your anger on me by teasing me everyday?!!" I finally flipped out.

"That feeling, when my heart hurts a lot when I see them leaving me. When emotions cannot stir whenever I become so sensetive by my own thoughts my mind becomes null and I don't, no... I can't take it anymore!" A tear trickled down. "I'm buried alone in that pit!"

He was shocked, obviously. Then I ran away to the comfort room.

Of course who wouldn't be shocked by a response like that right? 

and I've been running away a lot these days huh.
