"Ha yeah I thought you would," hes started, "I wanted to give it to you the day of the party but there were so many distractions that I didn't have the time." I smiled and took the necklace out letting it swing from my fingers. I smiled blush rising on my cheaks, "here let me help you put it on." I nodded and we stood up. I handed him the necklace turning around. He swung it around my head slowly. I pulled my hair out of the way and he clipped it in place. I turned faceing him. I hugged him he hugged me back. We then payed for our meal and walked out to the car.

I woke up and rolled on my side, 'Max.'  I smiled. I got up and got dressed and put on my necklace. I walked out into the kitchen.  I poured my self a bowl of cereal and sat on the couch. I turned on the TV.  Max walked out, "Morning!" I exclaimed.
"What are you excited about?" He asked plopping on the couch beside me.
"Going to see the new house!" I said.
"Oh," he says frowning faintly, "could I come along?"
"I don't see why not," I said , "but you better get dressed." He nodded walking back in his room.
I turned on my phone to check the time.  *12:55*  'woah we slept for quite awhile, we did stay up late playing smash and watching movies,' I thought.
*Buzz*
Jess: hey Aly on my way!
Me: can't wait max is coming along if ya don't mind.
Jess: that's OK
Me: cool see you then
Jess: talk to you in a bit

Max walked out in  jeans and a papyrus tee, "OK where did you get that shirt?"
"Um I don't know a friend gave it to me," he shrugged.
"Oh," I said, 'darn I really like it.' Jess walked in.
"Who said you could come in my house?" Max asked.
"I did," Jess said sticking her tongue out at him. He stuck his out back.
"I told the guy 2:00," I said to Jess," we have a little bit, but lets head out and stop for a quick lunch."
"Sounds good!" Jes said. We walked out to her car, "How's taco Bell sound?"
"That's fine," I said, "Max?"
"I don't care," he shrugged. We pulled up to the window and ordered. Then we drove to the house.
"A left down here it should be the 4th house on the right," I said to Jess looking at my phone's GPS. She nodded, "riiight there!" She pulled in the drive way. A black suburban sat in the drive way. In a man in his 40's sat on the porch swing. He stood up as we got out of the car. I walked up to him, "Hi Mr. Roberts," I said holding my hand out, "I'm Aletta." He shook my hand, "This is my friend Jess," I motioned at her she shook his hand saying a quick hi, "This is my friend Max." Max shook the man's hand.
"So Aletta what is your job currently?" Mr Roberts asked
"I'm an editer," I responded.
"For what?" He asked.
"Um.. I used to edit small films," I explained.
"Used? did you get fired?" He asked.
"No I quit and now edit videos for my friend, and make youtube videos." I said winnceing a bit.
"PAPA PAPA!" A little boy exclaimed, "look I found a lizard by the garden!"
"Well look at him," the man chuckled, "This is my grandson, Jack."
"Hi there," Max said kneeling down to the boys hight smiling, "could I see him?" The boy shyly smiled, and handed him the lizard, "what his name?" The boy laughed and shrugged his shoulders.
"Mad Max!" He giggled.
"Oh really?" Max chuckled, "That's a pretty punny name." The boy giggled. Hugging  Max, "I bet Mad Max misses his family don't you think we should bring him back to the garden?" The boy nodded racing back to the garden. Mr Roberts looked highly confused. Max stood up.
"Ha ha! Jack must be a fan of the YouTuber  I work for," I chuckled. Mr Roberts smiled.
"I guess so," he said, "lets look around the house." I nodded and we all walked in.

"You seem like a lovely bunch I would be happy to sell you my house," he smiled.
"Really!" I exclaimed, "thank you so so much!" He laughed and handed me the papers. I saw the pile and frowned a bit. He chuckled.
"Have this done  by Thursday and we'll meet up here OK?" Mr Roberts said.  I nodded. Walking back to my car. We drove home.
