Chapter 3

Amy's P.O.V.

It has passed 2 months since the Doctor and Sophie left us on our new house. We have noticed that the Doctor has been doing stupid and obvious things on Earth with Sophie. I think they're trying to get our attention but Rory doesn't think so. I'm now searching on a red History book.

          Amy: “At the personal intervention of the King, the unnamed doctor and his companion were incarcerated without trial in the Tower of London.” - I read to Rory from the book I was reading while he putt the shopping bags down.

          Rory: Ok, but it doesn't have to be them.

          Amy: "According to contemporary accounts, two nights later a magical sphere some twenty feet across was seen floating away from the tower, carrying the mysterious doctor and his companion aloft."

          Rory: Ok. It's them.

          Amy: There's more. - I said looking around other pages of the book.

***Minutes later***

Rory and I were now sat in the couch watching telly and I was still talking about the Doctor and Sophie.

          Amy: It's like they're being deliberately ridiculous, trying to attract our attention. Are we watching this again? - I complained about a black and white film, "Laurel and Hardy", that Rory loves while I don't understand a thing.

          Rory: Yeah. I've explained the jokes. - he said and then the doorbell rang and I went to see who it was - So what are you saying? You really think they're back there trying to wave to us out of history books? - he said while I opened the door and a postman gave me some letters. Little did we know that the Doctor was in the film waving out at us being then dragged away by an angry Sophie.

           Amy: It is the sort of thing the Doctor would do. Thanks. - I said to the postman closing the door and going back to the living room.

          Rory: Yeah, but why?

          Amy: Well he said he'd be in touch.

          Rory: Two months ago.

          Amy: Two months is nothing. He's up to something. I know he is. I know him. - I said opening a blue envelop with the number 3. It had a letter saying "22/04/2011  16:30 MDT   37º 0º 38ºN 110º 14º 34º W"

          Rory: What is it? Amy?

          Amy: A date. A time. A map reference. I think it's an invitation.

         Rory: From who?

         Amy: It's not signed. Look. TARDIS blue. - I said showing him the envelop and then throwing it to him. It has to be from the Doctor and Sophie. It has to.

River's P.O.V.

One of the guards threw a blue envelop to my bed and I took it and opened it. It had a date, a time and a map reference. I smiled as I realized from who it was. I got my things and began packing up my stuff.

          Guard: You better get down here, sir. - a guard said through a telephone in the wall near my cell after he saw me packing - She's doing it again. Doctor Song, sir. She's packing. Says she's going to some planet called "America".
