Adoption Day

Rudy's Pov

I woke up at 7 in the morning to banging at my door... Oh no... Haley, my roommate, was still sleeping, so I got up and opened my door. Ms. Franny came barging in.

"GET UP!" Ms. Franny screamed, slapping me across the face, knocking me down, waking Haley up, "IT'S ADOPTION DAY! GET READY! EVEN THOUGH YOU'LL NEVER GET ADOPTED ANYWAY!" Ms. Franny walked out, slamming the door. She only does this to me... Not any other girl... When ever it's any meal time, the lunch person makes me this smoothie that is make up of all the meal food. I try to take a slip out of it, but I end up gagging. So I'm very skinny... I drink water of course... Haley use to give me a peace of her meal, but then I gave up on doing that and stayed in my closet during any meal time... I usually get a granola bar from Haley twice a week. I got up, tears streaming down my face, Haley got out of her bunk and tried to help me...

"Rudy! Are you ok?" She said helping me up

"I - I'm fine..." I said, holding the side of my face where I got slapped "I - I'm gonna get ready... You should too..."

Haley nodded. I went to my closet and Haley went to hers. I got on a jean jacket, a black Luck of the Office T - shirt, black leggings, black Converses, and a black backwards Yankee hat. The only reason why I have the Luck Of The Office T - Shirt is because Haley pitched in to buy it... She knows how much I love Sky... It got shipped here and of course I got beaten for doing that... Haley came out the bathroom with a pink dress with flowers on it and her hair in a side braid... Haley has the same interests as I do... We both LOVE SkyDoesMinecraft and everyone in The Offices, we love Minecraft, the only thing that is different is that she is girly and I'm a tomboy... We sat it my desk and watched SkyDoesMinecraft on my laptop... The last thing my parents gave me before they died... We finished about 3 videos before the loudspeaker came on...

"All girls come down to the adoption room! All girls!" Ms. Franny said in her sweet voice

She NEVER talked to me like that before... I don't know why... Me and Haley walked downstairs to the adoption room and got into rows by age... There are 10-16 year olds at Killer Orphanage. I got into my row. Since I was 12, I got into the third row with Haley... She was 5 spaces away from me... There were a lot of old couples... Looking to adopt a sweet girly-girl... But, there was one couple that stood out to me... A young man with curly brown hair and glasses and a girl with pink dyed hair with a baby boy... They looked around, trying to find a girl to talk too, they looked at me and walked up to me...

"Hey! Hey! I see you like Sky Does Minecraft!" The man with the curly hair said

I nodded "Do you know him sir?" I asked

"You're talking to him!"

My eyes widened and my jaw dropped, he smiled

"Wait... Hold on... You're the Sky Does Minecraft!" I said with a confused look on my face

"Yep!" Adam said

OMG!! I'M FANGIRLING IN MY HEAD SO HARD!! I'M TALKING TO SKYDOESMINECRAFT! MY FAVORITE YOUTUBER OF ALL TIME!!

"That means... You're Alesa and that's DJ Baby Mason!"

Alesa nodded and Baby Mason gooed

"Hold on... Why are you talking to me and not one of the other girls? I'm a tomboy... I imagine you want a girly-girl that would wear a dress... I wouldn't want to unless it was anyone in The Offices birthday" I asked, "Then, I would have a dance party to Death Of A Bachelor..."

Adam and Alesa laughed. I GOT THEM TO LAUGH!!

"Well... Before we saw you, we talked to some other girls and they either never heard of Minecraft or don't like Minecraft. We were looking for someone like you!"

HOLY POOP!!! THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A GIRL LIKE ME!! FANGIRLING!! I don't really fangirl that much... I'm not really happy that often with all the beatings I get anyway...

"Oh really! My friend, Haley loves your videos too." I said

Haley looked over at me and I looked at her. She smiled at me and waved. I waved back.

"That's Haley!" I said to Adam

"Oh! Well, we are going to go talk to her it's very nice to meet you!" Adam held out his hand

I shook it. Alesa held out her hand free hand, since one was holding Baby Mason. I shook it. I held my finger out to Baby Mason. He grabbed it, smiled, gooed, and let go. They walked away and talked to Haley and a few other girls. After 10 minutes of people talking to other girls, all the girls went back upstairs. Me and Haley talked about how we just talked to SkyDoesMinecraft and watched more of Sky's videos...

Adam's Pov

Me and Alesa talked to some of the other girls and the girl with the Luck Of The Office T-Shirt... She was very kind for a girl her age... I decided to ask Alesa about it...

"What did you think of the girls?" I asked Alesa

"The girl with the Luck Of The Office shirt was very nice... And knew who you were," Alesa rocked Baby Mason a little and I could tell, she had her thinking cap on, "I think we should adopt her..."

"Me too."

We walked up to a desk with a lady behind it, she smiled as we walked up, Alesa stood beside me and we stood at the desk...

"Hello! My name is Ms. Franny!" She held out her hand to me, I shook it, then to Alesa, she shook it, "I'm the lady who takes care of the girls. What can I help you with?"

"Hi! We would like to adopt the girl with the St. Patrick's day shirt." I said

"Rudy?" Franny said "Oh no! She is such a bad girl! Why don't you adopt someone else?"

I grabbed Alesa's free hand. "She is a very nice girl from when talked to her. We would be honored to adopt her..."

"Trust me, sir! You would want one of the better--" Franny said, before Alesa let go of my hand and stepped in..

"Hey! From what we saw, Rudy is a very sweet and beautiful young lady... We would love to adopt her..."

"Ok..." Franny shrugged and reached for something, she handed Alesa a stack of papers, "Here are the papers you need to fill out to adopt her... You can go to the room where the man in the white suit is.., " Franny pointed to the room with a sign that said 'Fill Out Room' in bold on top of it, "I'll go get Rudy..."

"Thank you..." I said as the lady left to go get Rudy

I grabbed the paper of Alesa's hand and held it and we walked to the room to fill out the papers

Rudy's Pov

I watched more of Sky's videos and some of Ross' videos too, while Haley took a shower, until Ms. Franny came barging in with a whip in her hand...

"THIS IS YOUR LAST BEATING!!! YOU'RE GETTING ADOPTED!!" Ms. Franny screamed lifting up my shirt, whipping me... I cried... Tears of pain and tears of happiness... I was getting adopted... I don't care who it was... This is the last time I would be beaten... After a 45 minute beating, Ms. Franny yelled at me to get packed. I got my laptop and the two other shirts that I had, a Sky butter shirt and a ripped OMG shirt that had blown into the courtyard, I put it into my black suitcase that Haley gave me and said my goodbyes to Haley... Ms. Franny came back in and grabbed me by the back of my shirt collar and dragged me out of my room and let me go... I walked downstairs with Ms. Franny behind me... I kept my head down until I stepped off the last step...

"Meet your new daughter..." Ms. Franny said, in her sweet voice again

I looked up and saw Adam, Alesa, and Baby Mason smiling at me...
