My Blood Red Valentine (Book Two)

Part Two

I walked up to the cabin like mansion, it was absolutely charming yet held so much mystery in the walls. I lightly knocked on the door getting a bit nervous on doing this, what if he was still mad at me. Vitali's butler but also slave Jenkins answered the door. He then says with a bright smile on his face

"Miss Rayne, it's so good to see you again."

I half smiled and lightly say a bit low

"I have decided to change my name to Ikari Chi..."

Jenkins stared at me a bit as I looked at him silently. Jenkins nods his head and let me inside the house. Vitali was walking out of the dining room area and he stopped dead in his tracks. Vitali's medium black length hair had grown a lot more since the last time I have seen him and it was also cut in various choppy layers. Bis purple eyes stared me down as I half smiled at him wonder what the hell he would do. The last time I saw him I screamed at him calling him an asshole because he insulted me calling me a weak stupid bitch because I wouldnt tell Zya I was his mate. Vitali ran at me as my eyes widen in shock but instead of him attacking me he hugged me tightly and says

"I was starting to think you died or hated me!"

I smiled and hugged Vitali back and said

"I need a place to stay and I have so much to tell you Vitali..."

~4 days later ~

I had explained everything to Vitali, he had gladly accepted that he had a place for me to stay that was near the house. On one condition, he was allowed to help me throughout the pregnancy especially my bloodlust cravings going absolutely crazy. Vitali had tried to convince me that Zya was probably out looking for me and he was trying to protect me from harms way but my wolf always blocked those conversations out. The cabin was absolutely cute and out in the middle of the woods, Vitali warned me about the Menoki's that roamed the land. Menoki's are vampires mixed with werewolf, said to be very strong but with a short temper problem.

I walked around the simple decorated living room as I looked down the hallway watching Jenkins and Vitali moving in the baby's furniture. I was due any day now, thank god we have short pregnancies this little boy was killing me. Vitali had decided to sleep in the guest room here to make sure that I was ok if I was delivering the baby in the middle of the night. Vitali was screaming and arguing with Jenkins about the crib could fit the doorway while Jenkins says is too big for the door way. Vitali then said that it could fit if they just wedge it through the door way to make it fit. Then Jenkins backs up with his hands in the air and says

"If it gets stuck and you can't get it out I told you so."

I giggled at the two flustered men and walked out to the porch to get some fresh air. I took in a deep breath smiling to myself as I caught a very familiar scent it was.... Zya... And Aida. I glared out towards the dirt road I knew my brother would go forcing Zya to come find me. I rushed into the cabin as fast as I could because of this damn stomach of mine. The two men were still arguing hince Vitali not listening to me. I grabbed Vitali's arm and yanked him towards me grabbing his full attention. I then say

"Zya and Aida are close..."

Vitali's head snaps up as he curses under his breath and rushes outside telling me to stay inside and out of sight. I run to the window in the baby's room looking out the side of the blindfolds getting a good glimpse of the scenery as Vitali stood almost at the edge of the hill waiting. I then saw Zya running and stopped dead in his tracks to look straight into Vitali's eyes. My heart skipped as a part of me wanted to run to him and feel his loving hold while the other half, my wolf side, that's done with his shit, wanted to rip him apart.

~Zya's POV~

I could smell her scent, I had to be getting closer to her now. I have been out searching for her for 5 days now none stop with no sleep either. I started up this damn steep hill as I got to the top I stopped dead in my tracks coming face to face with my old friend Vitali, he was glaring at me hard. I haven't seen him in a long time every since I told him I was going to mate with Amaya... He blew up in my face calling me an fucking idiot and saying that I could see my own hand in front of my face even in the sun light. I had no clue what he fucking meant till now. I frowned as Vitali says harshly

"Why are you here on my property Zya? Aida?"

Aida came up behind me as I replied

"I am searching for my mate, Plague. Orenji said she was heading east the last time he saw her... He wasn't very happy to hear her name for the first time... Strange."

"What the hell makes you think she even wants to see you again? I've heard everything you have done to her... She has change, even her name, its Ikari

I frowned, Ikari Chi... That means hated blood, why would she change her name? I then spoke quickly trying to speed up this small conversation and look for Plague. I needed to find her.

"You don't understand! I have done the fucking stupidest thing a mate could do! I shouldnt have left her to protect her from getting hurt. I then find out she is caring my pup... My only son. Vitali..."

Vitali looks away from me as he seemed in deep thought. He then said emotionlessly

"She has already left this morning, I begged her to stay longer so I could help her with her pregnancy but she refused me to help her."

I bit my lip looking away from Vitali's face trying to not let him notice my pain and sadness with a bit of frustration. I was so close to catching her and explaining to her... I wanted her to myself and me and her to raise our son in a good environment and together. I then say softly as my voice gave away my pain and sadness

"I need you to help me find her Vitali... I feel like such a dumbass. I should have listened to Aida at the time but I didn't.."

I looked at me trembling hands, I was tired and hungry but I had to find my love I couldn't rest without knowing she was ok. I noticed Vitali look back at the cabin house and then quickly looks away. Vitali then says softly with a hint of kindness

"Come to my house with me, maybe she will change her mind and come back here... You look hungry and tired.. Both of you guys do. Zya if you ever hurt her like that again if she comes back, I.will.kill.you."

I quickly nodded my head as he started going down the hill towards his house. I knew Plague had to be in that house. I looked towards the house feeling sadness and hate go through me. I still bared her mark so I got hints if what she was feeling. I just knew she was there.
