It's been a few weeks since Mayim moved out from her place with Jim as by her mom's suggestion but it just made her miss him.

"Mom, please." Mayim begged calmly. Beverly sighed and finally agreed. She asked their personal driver to drive her to Jim's place with her things with her.

Mayim rang the doorbell and stood in front of the doorsteps waiting for him to open the door. He was stoned the moment he saw her standing in front of him, she was the person he least expected to visit him. She was holding her large baggage with her.

"Mayim." He uttered in surprise. "Hi. Can I come in?" She asked. "Yeah. Yeah! Of course." He helped her bring her things in.

"So... What brought you here." He asked as they sat at the couch together. She took a deep breath before she spoke. "Well, I'm sure you are already aware of our divorce getting processed, right?" She stated and he just nodded weakly.

"Well, I convinced mom to allow me to stay here with you before we... You know... Be single again." She faked a chuckle but it caused a prickle in their chest. He gulped and nodded, upon looking at her eyes that seemed to be so sad, he felt the urge to just hug her so tight and never let go but he held back.

"Anyway, I'll just go up and fix my things." He watched her go upstairs as the thought of hugging her tight and making her feel how much he missed her dwell in his chest.

Mayim hung up her clothes back to her closet and fixed her things around the room when Jim suddenly entered the room. "Hey." He uttered as he watched her fixed her things.

"Hey." She smiled at him. "Can we talk?" He asked with a serious tone. She paced towards him and sighed as she held his hands.

"Jim, its our last days of being married. Let's just enjoy and make the most of it instead of talking about it and being all miserable." She suggested. "Good idea, don't you think?" She added flashing a smile to him. Seeing her smile at him just makes his world stop every time, he couldn't speak, it feels like he just wants to look at her forever but then he suddenly recalled that they are getting divorced soon.

"If that's what you want." He smiled weakly. Ecstatically taking his hand, she lead him downstairs. "I'm gonna cook your favorite penne with vodka sauce." She raised her eyebrows and smiled at him.

"How did you know it's my fav-"
"Honey! I'm your wife! I should know." She took the pack of penne from the cupboard and started the recipe.

He watched her cook gracefully and appreciated every inch of her. He hugged her from the back and cuddled her as she cooked.

"Wow..." She uttered finding his act unusual. "This is gonna taste so good because it's made with love." She joked. He couldn't find any word to speak, he loved being close to her but he couldn't find a source of courage to tell her. He made him taste the recipe she had for the penne's recipe until she found the perfect taste that he wanted.

Up until she was done cooking, he helped her serve the penne and ate it together while exchanging some sensible conversation. "Since we only have short time to be together as a married couple... Why don't we do things we never did as a couple?" She suggested sounding so thrilled.

The both jumped into the pool and enjoyed the cool water for the summer season. Ever since they got married, they never tried swimming together, when one joins in, the other one just comes out. It was just that time when they enjoyed each others company at the pool together. They played by splashing the water on each others face, racing and jumping to the pool at the same time like they were kids.

Jim felt so intoxicated with the bliss of swimming and playing with her in the water. He never felt that happy before and he felt too happy that he forgot all his problems for a moment.

"Aw!" He poked her cleavage randomly. "It's my first time to see you in swimsuit." He replied ecstatically, she splashed water on his face. "And you can actually wear boxers but you're wearing a swimming trunks and it's so weird!" She retorted.

"What's weird with trunks?! It's not like I am wearing a sweater at the pool to be weird!" He defended himself.

"It's so weird! I mean look at yourself." She wanted to point out his big bulge in his trunks that distracted her. He went up the pool making his bulge even more vivid.

She protruded her jaws and scowled at him. "Seriously?" She stated and glanced at his groin. He finally knew what she was complaining about.

"Okay? Just because you can't enjoy this doesn't mean that you can call it weird!" He refuted facetiously. "How dare you!" She initiated a water splashing fight causing them to get all squirmy and playful. He embraced her from behind prohibiting her to further attack him with water splashes

She suddenly grew her eyes as she felt his bump on his back. "Your boner!" She laughed and tried to free herself but she just ended up turning around and facing him urging a sentimental moment to begin.

Their playful aura suddenly turned into something serious as they gazed upon each other.

"Can't we just cancel the divorce?" Jim asked with a stern voice.

She felt a quick string of sting across her chest with what he stated. "Jim... You know we can't. They were able to process our divorce without the need of our approval, what more to cancel it." She retorted causing silence between them.

"It's cold." She uttered for the sake of ending the silence. "Let's go back to the room." She brought up and went off the pool leaving him behind.

His heart pricked as he watched her leave a sweet smile at him before she left. Her smile was one of his favorite things about her and just by seeing it and thinking that he might not be able to see it again soon just hurts him. He sighed and leaned his back at the pool side reflecting on things.

He entered the room feeling a little awkward to be in the same room with her. He took a rough gulp after he closed the door next to him, pacing towards the bed. He sighed as soon as he laid beside her.

"Hey." He uttered, she looked at him willingly. "I'm sorry for... The thing a while back." He stuttered slightly, she just gave him a sweet smile.

"It's okay." He felt relieved as she held his hand. Suddenly, silence crept in.

"You know what? I've always wondered, how many girlfriends have you had?" She brought up a random topic for the silence to vanish. "I had five." She added to make him feel at ease to share. "Well. I only had one. Kaley." He responded, she suddenly pouted her lips accompanying a playful frown.

"What about me?" She asked, he chuckled taking her statement as a joke but then he realized she wasn't when she remained her eyes locked on him.

"You were just forced to marry me so I don't think that would count..." He explained. "Mmm." She pursed her lips. "Then if you see it that way, I only had four." He smiled at her playfully. "So you're saying you count me as one of your boyfriends? I am your boyfriend?" He wanted a clarification but he just made her blush.

"Huh?" She gushed slightly and looked away to conceal her giggles. He leaned closer and started to act playful. "I am your boyfriend! You slipped! Don't deny it." He tickled her feebly urging her to squirm and counter his tickles.

"Yes! Yes! Okay!" She surrendered, his playfulness faded, he gazed at her as his smile vanished.

She looked back at him suppressing her big smile. Suddenly, he felt him holding her both hands still not breaking their gazes.

"I don't know if I could move on from Kaley if it wasn't because of you." His deep voice sent shivers over her spine.
