---Chapter 1---
"Dude, you don't know how bad I want to go to New York City to see Collins perform at Radio City Music Hall" I say talking to my friend, Alaina, on the phone.
"You will one day" she says.
"Julie!" My mom yells from downstairs, "Julie, come down here!"
"Gotta go, my mom is calling for me." I say to Alaina
"Okay, byeeee." She says hanging up.
"Yes, mom?" I say going downstairs
"We have a surprise for you." She says "sit down."
"Okay..." I say sitting down, confused.
"We got you tickets to go to NYC to see Americas Got Talent!" My parents say in unison.
My eyes get so big.
"NO WAY. NO WAY. OMG. I LOVE YOU BOTH!" I say hugging them both.
"There's 3 tickets" my dad says.
"Oh, so you two are coming along?" I ask
"No, we're letting you go up by yourself with two friends." My mom says.
"Wow, thank you!" I say hugging them and running back up stairs to call Alaina
Before she even says hi I start freaking out.
"ALAINA, YOU'RE RIGHT. IM GOING!" I say.
"Going where?" She asks.
"NYC TO SEE AMERICA'S GOT TALENT." I say.
"No wayyyyy!!!" She says, "who are you taking?"
"You and Becca." I say
"That means I could meet Devan!!! Ahhhhh" she says. "When are we leaving?"
"Uhm, didn't get that far. How about Friday?" I ask.
"Yeah, so then we can go your around NYC for 4 days!" She says.
"Alright, I better call Becca. See ya Friday at 7 am!" I say hanging up.
So I call Becca. She freaks out too. I can't wait till Friday!!!
