The last book on the shelf held a secret. I grabbed the book out of curiousity. As the saying goes curiousity killed the cat. How i wish i would have listened to that saying. It was really old compared to the other books. The book felt like leather inbetween my fingers and was crinkled on the edges. I opened it up and it said property of Dan Ragen in black ink. Underneath it was the address 515 Rosevalley Way. That address stuck in my head. Rosevalley Way....that's in the bad part of town. I couldn't help but think "should I go?" I was really intriged so I checked the book out and started up my car. I'm the nerdy girl who sits in the back of the class with her head down and never raises her hand so I dont know where the confidence and curiosity is coming from. I pulled outside the abandoned warehouse. I grabbed the book, took deep breaths, and got out of the car. I started to shiver, but couldn't tell if it was from the early fall weather or the feeling of danger coming from the building. I ignored it and pushed open the door. Bad move. I came to a flight of stairs and took them all the way down to the basement. There was a lock on the door. I looked in the book. I turned the page. There's a combination. I put in the number 28-7-4 and it worked!!! I opened the door and was stunned at what I found.
