Bulletproof Love

Chapter 8

Vic has been working his ass off so we could afford a big wedding, even though I had already told him countless times that I was okay with a small wedding. He said he wanted it to be a day that I would remember forever, the truth is I don't really want a big wedding because even though it is small it is going to be the day that I get married to the person I love the most.

Now that he finally is a doctor he wins a lot of money; which I am very happy about. Even though I was excited to get married I was stressed out, my mom was helping me plan everything out and Aiden was getting a little older. He was finally three months and he is still so adorable. I cant wait for him to start walking even though I think he would be a handful.

Right now I was looking through magazines planning things out for the wedding. I felt like I had tiny weights on my eyelids. My mom has been here since the morning and right now it was six pm. Since she found out about the wedding she has been helping me plan everything out but I really need a break. "Kellin wake up!" My mom exclaimed making me jump. I sighed and I looked up at her with hooded eyes.

"Mom, can we pick up on this tomorrow? I am exhausted and hungry." I whined and she huffed. "Fine, you should go take food for Vic, when is his lunch break?" She asked and I thought before answering. "In about thirty minutes, I'm going to cook something before dropping it off." I said and she nodded before getting up from the chair. We were sitting in the dining room and my ass felt numb since the chairs weren't really comfortable.

"I'll come back tomorrow, just text me what time you want me to come over." She said and I nodded. "Okay mom, I'll see you tomorrow love you." I said kissing her cheek and engulfing her in a short hug. We pulled away and I walked her to the door, she got in her car and drove off. I heard crying so I ran upstairs and I saw Aiden looking around inside the crib.

"It's okay baby mommy's here." I said picking him up walking downstairs. Once he stopped crying I laid him down on a small crib that we bought to put in the living room. The good thing was I could easily keep an eye on him from the kitchen. I made something small for Vic before putting all the food in a plastic container so it could stay warm.

I made sure I had everything before picking up Aiden and put his little sweater on since it was a bit cold outside. I really did not want him to get sick. I buckled him up in his car seat before getting in the drivers seat and driving to the hospital. The good thing about Vic's job is that it isn't that far. I parked near the entrance so I wont have to walk too much. I put Aiden in his stroller before walking inside.

I greeted everyone at the front desk before walking to Vic's office. They were all used to me visiting Vic so they didn't mind. I peeked in his office and he was sitting on his chair filling out some papers. "Hey babe," I said making him jump. He turned to look at me and smiled. "Hey darling, you scared me." He said and I giggled. "I'm sorry, I brought you food." I said handing it over to him.

"Thank you I am so hungry." He said opening the container and digging in immediately. I chuckled and sat down on the floor in front of him. I didn't really mind since the floor was carpet. "No sit on my lap." He said and I smiled before doing as he said. Aiden had already woken up so I got up and picked him up before handing him over to Vic.

"Hey baby, how was mommy treating you today?" He asked and Aiden smiled. I was literally cooing at the two. I am so lucky to have Vic. "You are so cute," Vic said kissing Aiden on his little nose. "Okay finish eating your food before it's time for you to go back to work." I said and he smiled before gently handing Aiden over. His big brown eyes that he got from his father were just staring at me.

"What's wrong Aiden?" I asked and he smiled again moving around in my arms. I chuckled before looking over at Vic who was staring at us. "What?" I asked and he snapped out of the daze he was in. "Nothing I'm just admiring." He said making me blush and look down. I looked at Vic's face and he looked tired, he even had bags under his eyes from lack of sleep. He said he loves his job but it really does tire him out.

"Babe, you look so worn out and tired." I said walking over to him. "I am tired but it's going to be worth it once we get our huge wedding and our huge house." He said smiling. "We could just stay in the house we are in now and we don't need a hug wedding." I said because he was working too hard. He was doing too much over time and I just felt bad for him.

"Darling we talked about this, I want us to have a big wedding you deserve it and working so much doesn't really bother me I love it. I want us to have a big house so let me work." He said and I sighed. "Fine, but please promise me that you wont turn into a workaholic." I said and he chuckled. "I promise once we get what we want I'll work a bit less." He said and I smiled.

"I don't understand why you wont let me get my own job." I said and he shook his head. "Nope, not happening." He said and I glared at him. "Do you think I am not capable of working?" I asked and he shook his head.

"No I just don't want you to work, you need to be at home take care of Aiden and be my sexy housewife." He said and I giggled. "I'll take the sexy part but not a housewife." I said making him chuckle. "We have enough with me working and I don't want you to work, if you want to work so much you should but I don't want you to." He said.

"I kind of don't want to but I feel bad that you are the only one bringing something to the table." I said. "It's okay darling all I need is your love and we will get through this." He said and I nodded. "Okay," I muttered. He lifted up my chin so I would meet his eyes. "I love you," he said. "I love you too," I answered kissing him but pulling away once Aiden started crying.

"I don't think he likes us kissing." Vic said and I laughed.
