Chapter 20

I woke up, and checked my phone to see what time it was, and it was 2:50 am so I went back to sleep since it was only Saturday morning, and we didn't have to go to work, I felt an arm wrap around me "up already?" Reiji asked "yes" I answered as I sniffed the air "do you smell that?" I asked "yes it appears that while we were asleep Kanato, and Miriam baked sweets" he answered "that explains why it smells like cake, and pie" I said "well alright we should probably get up for a while so we can go back to sleep later, and Laito come out of there I know you're here" Reiji said "it was about to get good Reiji why can't I have a little fun?" Laito asked coming from his hiding spot "what the-how did you get into my room?" I asked "that's a secret" Laito stated 'great now I need to do a scan of my own room to find out how he came in here' I thought to myself "I would advise you not to do such things to my girlfriend, and that you take it to your own personal quarters" Reiji scolded him as Laito walked to the door, and Reiji closed it once they both were out of my room.

I locked it, and quickly did a full body scan of my room, and it turns out that there's an extra hole in my floorboard covered with brown paper to blend into it floor 'how did I miss that?!' I scolded myself. I quickly put my dresser over it, not as easy to move on your own I know that, but I have bionics to help as always. When I was done I threw on a shirt, and black pants then went downstairs to grab something to eat for dinner. Things went by normally ever since we rescued Miriam from Eric, Richter, and their ally Victor, sure it took one day, but still. There was still some cake left from when Miriam, and Kanato made the sweets, turns out there were two of each pie, and cake meaning there were four deserts on the counter wow they went all out' I thought to myself. I grabbed a slice of cake, and grabbed some milk, and sat down at the table to eat.

Once done I went back to my room to lay down, and check my YouTube page I only had fourteen subs, and a little over a thousand views which surprised me because I never thought I'd ever get this far it was so cool, and afterwards I did do other things like get on Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram typing, writing, and reading. A few minutes later I heard a noise so I went downstairs to check it out, and I wasn't the only one who had the same idea because I was met at the door with Miriam, Cirly, Ayato, Kanato, and Reiji. "you all heard the noise too right?" I asked "yes" they responded so I had my hand on one of my many knives I carried with me just in case, and opened the door quickly ready to attack the person that made the noise, but nobody was there.

"the hell?" Ayato asked "what is that?" Kanato asked as we all looked down to see a small box, with a note on it, and not at all smelling plesant let alone the fact that it was covered in blood already met something bad. It had a really strong smell of blood coming from it, I picked up the note quickly trying to distract myself from the blood smell, and read the note aloud

"it appears that you were able to save your friend, but you didn't bother to try, and help the people at the old house hope you enjoy these hearts"

After reading the note my eyes widened as I opened the small box, and there were two hearts inside it "No!" I said as I teleported to the kitchen, and puked into a trash can as well as the others did with separate ones, and during all that one thought kept crossing my mind.

'why did he kill my mom, and his own father!?'
