Right now, its impossible to think. I'm trapped in a cage. I've gotten out before, but to try again, oh it's too hard. I know how much it takes, to get out of the cage.---- These are my thoughts everyday, I never know how to move on from my past. I'm trapped in time in a cage. What is out there, as an introvert I wouldn't know. Why can I not speak at the right time. This is my Story of pain, anger, worry, anxiety within my own self. Where I long to belong.------- The day starts out as usual "Jen!! Get up!!" is the first thing I hear.I got up finally after a while. I am so glad I did, I was falling (in my dream). What will I wear today? I decide on some dark ripped skinny jeans and a loose black shirt with a cat on it. Shoes, shoes, shoes....some metallic high tops it is, since the cat on my shirt is metallic. I check the time, 6:30, it reads. I'm ok I have 30 more minutes until I leave. After I go to the bathroom and eat breakfast, I turn on the TV and: " It has been confirmed that missing teen ,Jake Wathers, is dead. His body was found in a ditch near Sparto Mart at 2:00 am this morning.......".
WHAT!?!
"That's some funky stuff." says my dad passing by the living room.So I guess you might be wondering why I'm freaking out. Well personally, I wasn't good friends with him. We knew each other but never really became "good" friends; but oh, did that boy talk...I knew stuff about him no one else knew...."Lord help him"... I would say everyday. He was my lab partner in science and we were in band together. Yes band, no band is not for boring people. Any way it was 7:00, and was time to go. My dad drives me, my mom had to go to work early. I sit in my dad's black truck thinking the whole way about Jake and other stuff. Ugh, school...we finally get there.."Bye Jen, love yah!""Bye dad, love yah too!!"...I wish school was over already but no, 80 more days. BLAKELY HIGH SCHOOL the sign reads as I walk towards the entrance. I go in, walk past the cinnamon smelling office...pass the "annoying" counseler...pass the good ol' library..and pass 20 other classrooms, until I get to Mrs. Heidi's room. "Finally home"I mutter to no one in particular. As I get into my seat by my best friend Callie I hear, " Omygosh did you hear about Jake, awww poor guy. He could've done something better with his life...blahblahblah", other stuff no one wanted to hear. So I guess everyone knew about the whole Jake situation, it didn't suprise me. "Jen!!!" I turn and face Callie, the blonde headed maniac who eats and never gets fat. "What's up Callie, I love your skirt!" "Thanks, I love your outfit!".... So yeah we do compliment each other but it's normal...." Did you see that Snapchat that I sent you this morning??" "Oops no, sorry Callie, I wasn't on my phone this morning." Eeek, Callie gets mad when I don't respond to her Snapchats, but she understands. "Well, if you would'vd read it you would've found out." I was confused, "What are you talking about??" "Open your Snapchat Jen, read it!" --I GOT A DOG!!!!-- it read. Well, that wasn't much of a surprise but good for her. She on the other hand was very EXITED. "I'M SO HAPPY JEN!! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW EXTREMELY HAPPY I AM!!" Callie loves dogs and finally got one after 2 years. "Ok, calm down Callie. Good for you but we've got other things to worry about." I wasn't about to tell her about the letter in Mrs. Heidi's room, where there were a bunch of other people "Callie, come over to my house afterschool I have something really important to tell you. A matter more important than your dog. " Callie usually came over on Mondays to do English homework but today was really important, and to cram homework and the letter was going to take a long time. "You can ride with me, just call your Mom so she knows you're not riding home with your sister." "Gotcha!" she replied. The bell rang, school started and it was the beginning of an extremely long day.
