Chapter 1: Moving On

Clary was on her way to the Institute. She had just got off the phone with luke telling her that it would be a great idea to surprise Jace with a picnic as it was ages since they got to spend time together. She made her way up the steps and walked inside. Suddenly she bumped into Isabelle who was carrying weapons. Isabelle dropped the weapons as soon as Clary hit her and groaned. "Oh my god I am so sorry Izzy" Clary stammered "I didn't see you there." Izzy smiled and hugged Clary "don't worry no harm done your in a hurry I see." Clary smiled nervously "well yeah actually I'm looking for Jace, have you seen him?" She asked. Izzy shook her head "not since this morning I'm afraid... sorry Clary" she frowned. "That's ok" Clary said picking the weapons up "maybe he went to the weapons room." Izzy nodded "oh yeah! He may have gone to train with Alec" she said. Clary laughed and smiled "of course after all Alec is his Parabati." Clary finished handing the weapons to Izzy then ran off towards the weapon training room "bye Izzy," she looked back with one last smile and then sped off, disappearing round a corner. Isabelle smiled back and continued to go back to where the weapons were placed or kept and placed them down. Meanwhile Clary had reached the weapons room, she walked inside and dropped dead standing there frozen in place. She dropped the food that she held in her right hand and tears began to fall from her eyes. There in the middle of the room was Jace and he was making out with a blonde haired girl. A few minutes later Jace pulled away and was shocked seeing her there. Clary was too heart broken and hurt to stand there and yell at him, covering her eyes she ran out of the room in tears. "Clary wait!" Jace called after her and followed her. Clary ran to her room crying and slammed the door locking it. Jace knocked a few times and yelled from the outside "Clary please, let me explain, come on let's talk about this!." Clary heard him as more tears began to flow and leaned against the door. Jace was becoming impatient now "Clary come on! Your not going to cry over something so natural are you?" Jace said. Suddenly anger burned up and Clary swung the door open furiously. "Natural! Natural! NATURAL!!!" She screamed "your nothing but a liar and a cheater I knew I never should have trusted or dated you!." Clary broke down into tears, her anger leaving her and slammed the door in Jace's face. Jace was slightly annoyed by this and banged against her door "Stop being so pathetic!" He yelled "so what if I kissed another girl I lied to you all this time anyway, I never loved you! I was just using you to get the all the girls all over me." Clary screamed loudly from inside the door "LEAVE BEFORE I KILL YOU I NEVER WANT TO SEE A LYING, CHEATING SCUMBAG LIKE YOU EVER AGAIN!." Jace was shocked and pleaded her "Clary please" he said softly "I ask for your forgiveness." Clary yelled again which made Jace run off in anger. Clary began to break down for several minutes until she made her final decision. She made a portal using her Stele and Runes and a purple pink tall space opened up. Clary took one last look at her bedroom before jumping through the portal, she was going to Idris.
