Chapter VI

Yuri

I had a flashback... but its kind of blurry. So I didn't recognize the people..

I saw a little girl who was sitting in a swing that hangs from a tree. Then I saw a boy pushing that girl from behind. And by the looks of it, they both looked really happy.

"Kids! Come over here! Snacks are ready and your friends are waiting fr you at the picnic table." a woman said to them

"Alright Auntie!" both of them said then rushed into the picnic table. Nung pagkarating ng lahat ng bata sa table, Their aunt somehow rang the glass with a bread knife to make some announcement.

"May ibibigay ako sa inyong lahat at sana magustuhan nyo"

The flashback disappeared nung tinawag ako ni Zelo.

"Yuri, okay ka lang ba? Habang nakatunganga ka dyan ako na naglipit ng pinagkainan ko. Lipgpitin mo yang sayo at hindi ako maid para gawin yan." sabi ni Zelo.

"You are a total threat in my life" sabi ko.

"Why thank you. It's an honor to be a threat in your life" he said sarcastically then umalis papuntang living room.

Palakad na dapat ako sa living room bigla akong nadulas. Damn I'm gonna hit my face.. Hard.. Closing my eyes to prepare for the pain, pero I felt a hand by my waist..

I slowly opened my eyes. Nagkatitigan kami ni Zelo. I have this light feeling about him. Totoo nga pogi nga sya, Kung matino lang sya, I guessed I should have fallen for him.

The truth speaks. It came from you sweetheart.

KUNG titino. Pero it will never happen. Ugh no point denying right?

"Ang pangit mo. Lalo na kapag namumula." Sabi ni Zelo.

I slapped him in the face...

"NO ONE ASKED YOU TO CATCH ME BABO! YOU DESERVED MY SLAP IDIOT!" I said angrily.

"But honestly. You are beautiful." sabi nya then he was going for the door. "I'm going home. Pasabi nalang sa iba. Thanks sa dinner. Masarap ka magluto." he said then he left.

I am left hanging?...

Why? Do you crave more of his attention?

No point denying. Yes. I do,, Am I falling for him? That I do not know.

"What the noise all about?" Asked Yuki while rubbing his eyes.

"Oh nothing. Kain ka na oppa" I said to him.

"Sige. Let's wait for Riel and the others to wake up." He said after yawning.

"Wait Riel? Woah. Teka something's fishy here. May something ka bang nararamdaman kay Riel?" I asked him with 100% curiousity.

"Wha-what?! No Wait I mean ugh. Fine I like her." He said embarrased.

"There's nothing to be embarassed of. I'm yor little twin sister. Nothing willl change. Magkatuluyan man kayo o hindi." I said then I gave him a big hug.

"Thanks unnie." Then he kissed me in the forehead.

30 minutes had passed and everybody was awake and they headed straight for the dining room.

"Oo nga pala Yuri, Asan si Zelo?" Nhico asked me.

"Maaga kasi syang nagising so nauna na raw sya." sabi ko.

"Oh I see. Well tomorrow, the First cohort will shine the brightest."  sabi ni Nhico.

"Of course we will!" Sabi ni Kenra at ni Riel.

After that we all spend the night planning and making our preparations for tomorrow's event.

- The Next day -

* ALL STUDENTS PLEASE PROCEED TO THE GYMNASIUM. WE WILL BE STARTING THE LAST EVENT OF OUR COHORT FEST (SPORTSFEST) FIRST WE WILL HAVE OUR BASKETBALL WOMEN'S DIVISION FOLLOWED BY THE MEN'S DIVISION IN THE AFTERNOON. THIS IS SIMULTANEOUS TO THE REMAINING 2 SPORTS FOLLOWING THE SAME SCHEDULE. THANK YOU AND PLEASE BE GUIDED ACCORDINGLY. *

As that was said, we (Riel, Kenra, Xea and Me) were preparing for our game.

"So who do you guys think would be our opponents?" asked Riel.

"I-I think I know who." said Xea. As she said this she pointed to the big bulgy girls behind us.

"Hey Xea, diba sila yung nanakit sayo?" tinanong ko.

"Opo eh." sabi nya.

"Don't worry we will kick their butts!" sabi ni Kenra.

"Don't bet on it Miss Valedictorian." says Big Bulgy girl #1 (BBG#1)

"Why? Scared that the smartest girl and her besties would beat you?" said Kenra boastfully.

"Why I oughta-" said the BBG#2

"Hit her face? Immaturity strikes. Stop the blabble and put your words into the game. If you know what I mean" said Xea.

As she said this. We were all suprised. And the BBGs left arrogantly.

"Way to go Xea! Who knew you were so dangerous." Riel joked.

"Well I'm tired of being a weakling to them. Let's go!" Xea responded and we proceeded to the court.

* ALL RIGHT STUDENTS SETTLE DOWN. WE WILL BEGIN OUR BASKETBALL GAME WOMEN"S DIVISION. THE FIRST COHORT'S TEAM (IN BLUE AND BLACK) IS THE HOME TEAM AND THE SELECTED STUDENTS (IN RED AND BLACK) WOULD BE THE CHALLENGER/VISITOR TEAM. LET THE GAMES BEGIN! *

I'm a very bad person yes? XD Sorry for being a slow-updater-and-cliffhanger kind of girl. Hey I'm a busy person you know. But Of course I wouldn't want you guys to be left hanging. OF COURSE I'LL CONTINUE THE STORY :D Suggestions though are very very aprreciated. :3
