Chapter VII

Xea

Well this is it. I don't want to look like a weakling to them anymore. I'm sick and tired of it. I guess it's better to go back to my old attitude. Well.. I don't exactly remember.

Got some kind of amnesia or something?

No I do not have amnesia thank you very much. Me, let's just focus on the game shall we?

Yes, we shall dear. I know you can do it.

Honestly, I have never seen girls play basketball. The practice from yesterday wasn't really a practice. They more like played a stupid kid's game. What do you call it? Play Tag or something?

Psh. Like you didn't join.

I was forced too alright!

But in the end, you still played the game. Stop acting so cool. You know you wanted to play with them.

I have no time to argue with you 'Me' I wanna see the game. And I hope nothing would happen to Yuri..

*LOUD WHISTLE BLOWS*

And the game begins. Automatically, the tallest from us, Lara, caught the ball and passed it towards Kenra. (Kenra was supposed to be in volleyball, but she substituted our player, Mae, who is currently in the hospital) Kenra then made a quick turn and passed it on to me. I ran as fast as I could to the opponent's basket, but I was soon blocked by BBG#1. I saw Xea open and giving me the signal to do it. And so I did. In an instant I passed the ball to Xea and with no time to blink, Xea miss directed the opponent and quickly passed the ball to me and I dunked the ball in the basket.

The crowd was quiet because of pure shock. After that the crowd roared.

*Wow ! A very outstanding performance and it's just the beginning! Looks like the home team doesn't want to let this go easily. Now on with the game!*

Xea now has the ball. And I can't believe what I just saw. Once she had the ball, the BBG's blocked her fast, but before they have surrounded her, she disappeared instantly and ran at almost lightning speed. She dodged the other two players and scored a point. It's like we, her teammates, didn't even move a muscle. Cool huh? But it didn't stop there. Once Xea passed the ball to Kenra, Kenra just stood there. Steadied her aim and threw the ball. And.. she threw the ball from our side of the court. And the ball, went inside the opponent's basket. That's equivalent to 3 points.

"Think fast Yuri!" Kenra said and passed the ball to me.

Reflexes equipped, I caught the ball and did the style of the famous Daiki Aomine against BBG#3. To my suprise, I dunked the ball. Hard.

2nd to 3rd quarter had passed, the current score was Home 62 - Challenger 27. We play this game excellently. (If I do say so myself) This is now the half time of the 4th quarter.
