Peach's POV
I continued walking keeping my anonymity at its highest. I really wanna stay away from Chase yet I also want to keep him safe that's why I'm still following him.
Theodore and Elaine's words kept entering my mind. Replaying every five seconds. Pure confusion was hitting me.
That's for stealing Chase from me.
It's because of you, Yumi.
I simply shook my head and ignored it. I tried to focus on following Chase and so I did.
After a few minutes, I arrived at school gate. Theo welcomed me with a warm smile. I did the same thing to him too.
Good morning Yumi. Theo spitted out.
What's so good in the morning? I sarcastically said and punched his arm lightly. Tsk.
Yah, are you really sure of avoiding Chase? He suddenly changed the topic. The atmosphere went from light to serious in a split second.
I just nodded and continued walking down the hallway at a fast pace leaving Theo behind for a few steps.
While walking, I saw Elaine. She was eyeing me. She was like sending daggers to me as she looked at me sharply. I quickly looked away.
I'm not really affected by how she is treating me. I would really feel the same if I were Chase's girlfriend, but I'm not. So meh.
I got to the classroom and sat down my desk near the window. I looked at the view of my school whilst humming a song. Not that I'm happy, I'm just gonna let things go lightly today.
Another voice joined my humming. It was high pitched yet it was beautiful. It felt weird so I stopped. I heard a soft chuckle before looking to where it was from.
Then I saw him.
Chase. I shortly say not having eye contact with him.
Good morning Peach. He says and gave me a smile. I felt blood rushing through my cheeks causing me to bite my lip.
I. I need to get something from my locker. I excused myself and stood up not letting him answer my words. And then I left.
But Peach— I never heard what came next from Chase's mouth. I walked away.
Chase's POV
She left me here hanging. That's strange. I sense something wrong. Is she avoiding me? I shook my head. Ani. (No.) I pleaded before following her outside.
I stopped once I saw her hanging out with Theodore. Ugh. I almost forgot, they are an 'item'. Should I go to them? Should I talk to Peach?
Aish! This is really irritating! I blew up not noticing what I said was really audible. I mean really. All of the students were looking at me even Peach and Theo.
