Chapter 2 ☻

"Hope" I heard my mom call, I glanced over at the clock and it was 3 in the morning, I couldn't sleep so I was just watching tv. I opened her door and turned on the light, she looked pale. I knew that I had to bring her to the bathroom. "I'm sorry honey for waking you up" When she was normal she was actually nice, but I knew that it wouldn't last long. I smiled lightly and brought her to the toilet. After her little mess she went back to bed "Sweety I've got a terrible headache, could you give me some medicine?" She asked politely and I opened every drawer but there wasn't any left.

"Mom I'm going to buy some"I said coldly, she looked at me curiously. Yeah she's a bitch but I still love her. I opened the door and slammed it as I walked by N 8. Wake up ass*ole I don't mind. Everything was silent outside and the wind was blowing violently making the trees bend. It was dark and cold, not only outside but my heart was to. I'm on my own now, not that I wasn't without Liam, but with him I felt complete and somehow alive.

I walked into a small store where they almost had everything. It was so small that I had to squeezemyself through the shelves and stuff, I got the painkillers for my mom and paid. It was 5 in the morning now and the sky was slowly lightning up but the wind was blowing harder, I closed my eyes for a second. Why do things like this always happen to me?

"Hope what are you doing here?" a familiar voice asked, I turn around to look at Isabelle, Liam's mom. She looked just like him, chocolate brown hair and light blue eyes. "I got painkillers for my mom" I smiled at her but I couldn't look up, she reminded me of Liam and how he won't be my friend anymore. "Isn't it a little early? Come on, I'll bring you home" she said pointing towards the blue Ford Fiesta. We didn't talk during the trip, I didn't even bother saying something cause I was too lost in my own thoughts.

"I'm gonna leave you here honey, I have to go to work say hi to your mom and to Liam, I didn't kiss him goodbye this morning" I smiled sadly and nodded, I couldn't speak to him anymore.

When I walked in my mom was sleeping on the couch, she looked so peaceful but I knew that in less than three hour she would turn into a monster, again. I put the painkillers on the small table near the couch with a glass of water. I went into the kitchen and put all the alcoholics into a bag, I do it every week, but it doesn't seem to change anything.

I got my backpack and headed out with the bag simultaneously I heard a door open but I didn't bother who it was, I was to busy carrying out that damn bag.

"Need some help?" His deep voice brought me back to reality, I didn't even look at him. Jerk. "No" I simply said. "Please let me help you" I heard the frustration in his voice, he hated it too but he cared more about that ****. "Liam, seriously just leave me alone if your girlfriends sees us she will get made and we don't want that don't we?" I said sarcastically as I turned to face him eventually.

He looked.. hurt, and his eyes were all red, was he crying?!?! Impossible. "I'm sorry Pops, I really am, I just.." whatever he wanted to say it didn't matter anymore, he couldn't change things.  

"Don't waste your breathe please, go away Liam" I pleaded him, I couldn't stay near him without feeling hurt. I noticed that he had a pained expression on his face.

"Please talk to me Pops" he was confusing me, I know that deep inside he didn't want to do this but he did.

"Damn Liam you started this shit! What do you want? You can't pretend me to be happy, you're my only real friend and you dumped me for this chick, leave me alone" I turned my head around and headed towards the car, I didn't want him to see my tears.

I leaned my head on the steering. I hated school. Damn it! The school hours without my Jerk wouldn't be the same anymore. I dragged myself out of the car and headed towards the entrance, I stared at the floor I didn't want to see him in case he was with her.
