"Yas? Yasmin Isabel? Babe? Love?"

"Ay sorry. Hi love, I thought I put my phone on loudspeaker na hindi pa pala. Nagluluto kasi ako eh." Yassi finally spoke up.

"Ah ganun ba, magluto ka nalang muna, I'll call again later."

"No, no, it's okay. May lakad din kasi ako later. Why did you call pala?"

"Eh kasi, si James."

"Yung issue na naman ba?"

"Uhm kasi last night we had a meeting with the bosses. Then after ng meeting nagkausap kami ni James, I asked him why he did that. Tapos ito ba naman yung sinagot niya "I wish I could tell you why but I think it's not the right time."" Nadine explained while trying to mimick James which made Yassi laugh.

"Hoy wag mo nga akong tawanan, I'm serious."

"Sorry, eh kasi ang funny mo trying to mimick James." Yassi laughed again.

"Yasmin Isabel naman."

"Sorry na. Oh tapos anong nangyari?"

"Sinabihan ko siya na nakakainis siya tapos nag walk out ako." Yassi laughed again.

"Yas, last ka nalang talaga."

"Stop being so funny kasi. May pa walk out walk out ka pa."

"Wala namang funny sa sinabi ko ah. And hindi funny ang pag walk out emotional yan."

"Oh sige na nga hindi na funny." Yassi was composing herself after laughing out loud.

"Pero seryoso Yas, hindi ko na alam kung anong gagawin ko."

"Wait, what did you and the bosses talk about pala?"

"About sa issue. Tapos Mommy V suggested na James and I should date." Yassi became quiet for a while.

"Hellooo? Yas?"

"Ha?"

"Okay ka lang?"

"Oo."

"Did you hear what I said?"

"Ah... Yes."

"Oh so ano okay lang ba yung idea na yun? May maisusuggest ka ba?"

"Uhm it's okay naman para siguro marealize..." Yassi stopped after realizing that she almost blurted out something she shouldn't.

"Para marealize na ano?"

"Ha? May sinabi ba ako na ganyan?"

"Yassi naman, okay ka lang ba talaga? Are you taking drugs?"

"Baliw hindi noh. Okay lang ako medyo nagugutom nga lang."

"Ayan naman pala, kain ka muna. Text mo nalang ako pag free ka na."

"Sige. Bye! Love you!"

"Love you too!"

"Damn, that was close."

James recently admitted to Yassi that he wanted Nadine and him to become more than just friends but he knew he didn't have any chance. But Yassi didn't tell James that Nadine also felt the same way for him. Yassi just told him that things could change. He just had to wait patiently. It wasn't the right time yet. Yassi thought that that was where James got the idea of what he said to Nadine, the "right time" part.

Love is patient.

"Anak..." Mommy My was already sitting on Nadine's bed for almost 30 minutes. This was her third time going inside Nadine's room and waking her up but still no reaction. She was worried because Nadine didn't make it to the OTWOL taping.
