pacifica.

an eerie silence enveloped us as the girl went on to check our surroundings. the guy, however, eyed me skeptically before proceeding to gather the materials i borrowed from the center.

i probably think that he's wondering how the heck i, a 16-year-old, managed to pull out a bullet like that.

okay, now, i was afraid with what i was doing. remember, i didn't go stitching the wound up because i didn't think my fingers could manage it. second, i always wanted to be a doctor. third, i watch kdramas and learned from there.

thank you, lee jong suk and han hyo joo. i'll let you know that your drama has helped me help another person.

"dipper, watch out!"

all of us flinched at the girl's scream. with a blink of an eye, we saw dipper in shock, his back arched and eyes wide. just then i realized that he has been stabbed badly at the thigh.

mabel shot the guy's arm twice and locked him with handcuffs. shaking my head, i got a glass shard, ripped another sleeve and went to dipper. he kept on wincing and wheezing in pain, i felt pity.

i knelt and carefully removed the knife the thief used, then went on to inspect the wound. for a guy like him, i think he's sorta vulnerable (just like gid, i guess). fortunately, the wound wasn't as deep as i thought it would be, basing on dipper's reactions.

the girl rushed beside me and got the cloth. "i'll fix him up." she smiled at me and delivered the message: he doesn't like other people going near him.

nodding, i took a step back... with my knee. i was still kneeling while watching them before deciding to stand up.

when she was done, she managed to make him stand up. she draped his arm over her shoulder and held him by the waist. together, they trudged forward. dipper was limping horribly, i resisted the urge to raise an eyebrow.

"sorry. he isn't used to wounds. man, was that thief sneaky." he lolled her head towards the man, which was still kneeling and flinching due to the shot he had on his arm. i fought the urge to help him, because they wouldn't appreciate that.

i'm a bit intimidated.

gid raised a brow. "are you just going to leave him there? his arm's making such a huge mess with all of that blood."

"the cops will be here soon."

"why didn't you just call them in the first place?"

"because, aesthetic reasons. and, they're pretty much useless when it comes to situations with real danger, if you don't know that."

dipper groaned. "can we just go?"
