I got out of bed and picked up my black dress. It was like a laced black vest with a little black skirt  on the bottom, but they were attached together. I had no jacket but I decided that it would be warm enough without one. I headed out at quarter past seven and got to the coffee shop by twenty five past. I walked in and saw Luke already sat at a table. I walked over to him and he stood up. "Wow" he said. "You look... Gorgeous". I was flattered. "Thank you" I said in a shy tone, looking at the ground and tucking my hair behind my ear. I sat down as Luke took my coffee preference and went up to order at the counter. He came back with two takeaway cups and two packets with a biscuit in each. "One latte with two sugars?" He asked as if he were a waiter. "That would be me" I replied. "And another latte with two sugars? Oh! That's me!" He sat down opposite me as we giggled together. We drank our coffees as we talked about his move from Australia to England. No wonder he had a funny accent. It was really cute because it wasn't intense, just subtle. He said that he'd been to a restaurant called 'Jo's' before he got to his new house. It sounded really nice and he said he thought I'd like it there. We ate our biscuits and once we'd finished those, we got up and left for the bus.

It started to rain as we walked to the bus shelter, coffees in hands, walking close together. As we neared the bus stop, Luke started to take off his jacket. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "You must be freezing" he replied. He took my coffee out of my hand and placed it on a wall next to his. He held out his jacket and lifted it over my shoulders. He gave me back my coffee and put his arms around me to keep me warm. "Thanks" I said. We walked to the bus stop and sat drinking our coffees. We talked about all sorts of things until the bus came and we got on and sat together. We watched funny videos through Lukes YouTube on his phone and we used my earphones. We laughed until our sides hurt and once we got to school we didn't want to get off the bus. We started to walk to tutor and I held out Lukes jacket to give it back to him. "Keep it" he said. "It looks better on you". I thanked him and we walked into tutor together. The teacher looked at us for a while , and then stopped. We got in our seats and sat for a while, closer than we ever had. Luke reached his arm out from under the table and put his hand on mine. We looked at each other smiling, as our hands intertwined. We didn't care who saw us. We just sat there holding hands, and smiling as we were bored by the teachers words. I felt a huge spark in my heart and a weight off my shoulders for a reason I can't explain. I felt reassured, as if nothing could bring me down. It seemed like no matter what went wrong today, I would over come it. So the day rolled on, as I sat thinking of Luke throughout every lesson.
